All in all, Darwin thinning the herd. You dont screw around being stupid at amusement parks, especially if it really was over a hat. I hope the parents have enough common sense and decency to NOT sue. The kid climbed over fences and walked past warning signs. The parks can only do so much to keep you from getting killed.

people get so uptight about death i really don't get it.
Death is a way of a life, and you know what, sometimes it's funny the way people die because they are too ignorant to live.

There's a fine line. If the story behind his death makes you shake your head in disbelief and say "should've used common sense," that's one thing...

It's a complete other to laugh at death and be entirely insensitive.

I'm far from politically correct but I have my standards and death is not something worth mocking. NO matter how silly the cause of death it's in poor taste and speaks volumes about the maturity or lack thereof of the person mocking somebody's death. The funny thing is had the guy said something like that about say Heath Ledger which will equally be in poor taste I know for a fact hundreds of you guys would be screaming for his head.

I hate to giggle a bit at this. But its just SO DAMN IRONIC.

Anyway, I don't think death should be taken as seriously as it is. It happens, we need to just embrace that. I have actually asked my family not to give me a funeral when I die, but rather a "going away party" sort of deal. I'd rather they remember all the fun times. And of course, crying is going to happen, sadness is going to happen, but its just the way it is. Actually, never mind, I don't hate to giggle a bit at this. *giggles*

That being said I'm sorry but I just disagree I dont find death funny because of all the pain it causes most there's nothing funny about parents losing a son, children losing their parents a brother losing a sister etc.
