Enough. Jeez, no sense in argueing over some stupid dead kid. The kid was stupid, ignored blatant warnings and obstacles, and died a horrible death over something stupid. If he gets laughed at, so what? What is there to defend? I dont understand why some of you are getting all high and mighty with the Morality about some stupid kid losing his head over a hat. There is nothing to defend about his actions of risking and losing his life over a petty object.

It's sad that society feeds this gutless mentality to hold in what should be said. It's like people are afraid to shame people anymore if they do something really really stupid.

You are my new best friend. :applaud

Good riddance. This cleans up the gene pool a bit, which is still quite filthy. If you're dumb enough to not use common sense and then go and ignore the warning signs and jump two fences into a dangerous situation, don't expect me to care when you die.

I remember at the SIx Flags in New Orleans, a woman was killed when she was hit by the ride "The Joker's Jukebox". Ironic, because the ride was meant to represent the harmless prankster Joker of the Silver Age, and he still managed to kill someone.
I'm sorry if this sounds mean to anyone but what u just said is kinda funny. however i think it is sad that she died and i also think that its sad that the boy died, was he being a little stupid for ignoring rules to go find his hat? Yes. and don't lookat it as "oh come on,,,over a stupid hat?" the hat could have been very very important to him for some reason. sure he should have asked the ppl who work there if they could find a way to get his hat back, but unfortunately he didn't think it through. really is sad.

If the hat was that important to him, why would he wear it on a roller coaster? The boy wasn't using his brain period, and that's why his brain is now detached from his body.

You know, I think enough's been said. Closing...
