Has Snyder ever featured a car chase in one of his movies? Curious to know what kind of shots/editing to expect. I'm hoping for long shots rather than MTV style quick cut editing where you have no idea what's going on.

Has Snyder done a traditional car chase before in his movies? I'm not even sure what to expect here.

Haha ok, that's creepy.

It's interesting for all his praise in the action department, he has yet to venture into one of the most conventional scenarios involving kinetic movement. He's essentially a noobie at this, which is simultaneously exciting as it is daunting.

Just adding to this. I butted heads with these Rent a guards before in Chicago during BB/TDK filming. They are being paid to watch over things and make sure fans don't "loiter" around. So to make it seem like they are earning their wages, they tell people to move along or that they can't stand in certain spots. We all know that it's public property and we can stand there, some people listen to them, I usually try to be nice to them, but there has been a time or 2 when I chewed them out. Most of them are on power trips, some just want to sit in a chair and take a nap. I honestly think they feel like they would be fired if people were standing around with Cameras and they didn't attempt to shoo them away.

I've talked to cops before, I've asked if I was breaking a law by standing on a sidewalk watching and/or autograph hunting. And they've told me no. But I guess if you were causing a scene, or disturbing the crew the cops could ticket you or whatever for Loitering.

I've never understood why it's okay for the paparazzi to follow around celebs and wait outside starbucks with camera armed with cameras. But a few fans can't stand on a sidewalk across the street from a film shoot and snap a few cell phone pictures? I wish someone could explain that to me?

Just carry a copy of the US Constitution and ask the rent-a-cops if they've ever read it. :woot:

Great point here. Why do most directors treat us as if we don't want to be able to discern the action. Even Cap 2 had some of that in the Fury chase scene.
For all of Nolan's hand to hand faults he sure knows how to direct the hell out of a chase sequence. The action is always clear to me.

So if there is the Batmobile involved in the car chase, we will almost surely get a hi-res version of the Batmobile picture today before spy pics turn up online.

Doubt we'll see a Batmobile on set today. Unless they shoot one car chase during the day and another during the night.

Judging by the debris on the left, it looks like it's another building destruction of some kind.

Superman must have destroyed those cars.

Probably in his fight with Zod. That's the cause of all destruction ever.
