But i grew up watching Batman the animated series so...

Same here, jokeson. I like both characters equally at the moment, but if I had to root for one over the other during the fight, I'd narrowly choose Superman. Everything from Cavill's portayal of Supes in MoS, to what I've seen of him in the BvS trailers so far, to the general heroic aura of the character makes me want to root for him.

I love Batman more, but in this case, I'm waiting to see the moment that Cav-El proves to BatFleck that he's not his enemy and CAN be trusted.

Agreed, i chose Batfleck mainly because of his 20 year history in the DCEU, i mean i really want to see how a vigilante at his prime but with no superpowers have a chance against a powerful yet inexperience being.

in other words experience over advantages kinda fascinates me

Not to mention that he is single handedly the most comic book looking batman we have ever seen on the silver screen and this is coming from a man who grew up with Kevin conroys interpretation of batman, i am oh so excited to see what batfleck brings.

Batman only "wins" if Superman "lets" him...
Sorta like a parent lets a child win at a game... Until the kid grows enough to start learning what the game is really all about...or the kid becomes SO obnoxious that he needs to be reminded and put in his place.

Lucky for Batman, and other fragile humans, Superman is very patient. He learned this from an early age from Jonathan and Martha...or there would be a lot of Hancock like reprocusions, like heads up butts...and so on.t:

SUPERMAN always wins in the end.

Batman will probably win some battles but can't really win the war so to speak.
It will be fun watching how it all transpires...

Batman will be terrific against human foes...and for helping to plan against the inhuman ones, but straight up, one on one, Mano a Inmano, no chance.

I'll make this easy:

Superman. But we all know Batman is going to bring him down a peg. How is what I'm curious about.

I'm hanging my hat on one of Cavill ' s brilliant answers when someone asked him why Supes would fight Batman and he said "If Superman is Superman, which he is..he wouldn't." That response floored me as a Supes fan and I hope he's foreshadowing in his answer. They will throw down but there's a twist coming somewhere along the way IMHO.

I imagine there'll be two confrontations. One early on where Superman tracks down the 'Bat vigilante' in Gotham (catches the Batmobile and rips the doors off). Batman knows he'd lose, so he flees. (Superman - 1, Batman - 0)

The second time, Batman has his armor and he beats Superman, though perhaps only because Superman's humanity gets in his way. Like maybe he has the opportunity to fry Batman's face off but doesn't take it. And then Batman exploits that moment of mercy and sticks Superman with a shard of kryptonite. So Superman could have ended the fight, but Batman does.

I love Batman but he's nowhere near Superman for me, no one is really.
