i always wanted to see batman vs the xmen and xmen villians...like batman vs wolverine, gambit, cyclops, sabretooth, omega red, etc..

Batman fought The X-Men in one of those Marvel/DC crossover books....Wolverine wasnt with them though....

i remember it being Cyclops, Bishop, Iceman, Jean Grey, Storm..can't remember who else.

Bishop started it, getting in Batman's face and threatening him...Batman dropped him, and then it was on. Bats held his own against all of them for a bit until they finally got him down. However, the JLA then showed up and a big brawl ensued. (no winner, they made friends)

Why is it stupid? Cass is pretty much recognised as the greatest martial artist in the DCU, even better than Shiva. Batman is not the greatest fighter and never will be, I remember Cass beating him several times.

Just avoid any material by Beechen, he seems to either have no respect for her character or suffers some sort of mental ******ation.

bah, that is hand to hand combat. I would imagine Batman is smart enough to realize he couldn't take them one on one so would make it like guerrilla warfare and lure them into traps and cause them to exert too much energy and then bam they have been bat *****ed.

Exactly, and that is why he is so good. I believe that Batman is probably the most paranoid/mentally sick superhero out there. (save for deadpool but batman is a bad kind of sick).

He would be like a suped up Jason Bourne. Every location he would look for the exits and possible weapons. He is like Dexter bringing the fight to a comfortable location so he can take down the opponent easier, preparing the field for a fight. Constantly calculating, imagining even Alfred turning on him and attacking him. The man is insane and thats why I like him.

Batman's already beaten shiva in superman/batman...though she was mind controlled, she was still performing at top skill, and was still beaten by Batman
