Affleck literally has no problem writing or directing. That's a fact. He's not as bad of an actor as people make him be either. Then again, Renner and Hamm are so much better than him in this.
I think that people criticizing Affleck in this movie just haven't gotten over Daredevil and "Bennifer." He was a powerhouse in this film. Renner, Hamm and Hall all have very strong supporting parts... but this was Ben's movie. If he doesn't gain some recognition for being a good actor after this film, then the general public just has its head up its ass.
Originally I was going to wait for it to come out in Netflix, but the scores of rave reviews made me want to see it in theatre. I'm very happy for the success that Affleck is having, because I really think he got alot of undeserved bad raps after Gigli, and it got pretty excessive after awhile. I'm glad he has proved his chops as a director after GBG and now The Town. GBG got snubbed by the Oscars but I hope they will recognize him this time around.
I will say though, the movie really didn't earn that [BLACKOUT]traitor storyline with Lively. The relationship was never built up enough to see her turn on her brother and McCray.[/BLACKOUT]
Man this movie was great. That chase scene gave me a panic attack lol. 9/10
went to 4 haloween stores and i cant find that nun mask, they have the only lady mask, same face but a rose colored cloth. might buy a nun costume and make my own mask for halloween. i have an M16 already.

I have mask just like the one that was used in the first robbery that I bought from a hot topic two years ago . It would be funny to wear it now. I picked the wrong year to move away from home though.
I love the bit where he goes to whisper in his ear , that was good.
One of the things I really liked about those characters :
When the Florist had the crew lined up for the last job and he mentions having known all their fathers , he basically says it invigorates him to know he's held his ground for so many years , the guy was a master prick.
Then one of the funniest things I've ever seen :
When the crew is at "the switch" and an older cop spots them, they kind of shrug and he turns away , lol. some lady in my theater yelled "he aint about to miss retirement"
