Hey guys, ok so i've got sort of a strange request. I've been feeling nostalgic lately and i plan on buying a bunch of old spidey back issues from the 90's. BUT i want to buy the issues where Ben Reilly donned the spiderman costume. I know there was a length of time where Ben was Spiderman while Pete was retired and i'm interested in reading those stories. Problem is, there's so MANY of them. There were so many spiderman titles at the time (Spiderman, Sensational, Spectacular, Amazing, Unlimited) that i have no idea what to choose. Do any of you guys have any recomendations for any particularly good Ben Reilly adventures? Thanks.

The 'Spider-Man: Redemption' miniseries by JM DeMatteis is bar-none the best Spider-Ben story. It really just is.

Besides that, Sensational was probably the strongest series during Reilly's tenure as Spidey. Both the Jurgens stuff and the Dezago/Wieringo stuff was very solid.

The problem is all the Spidey stories were intertwined between all the titles. So if yer gonna get one yer gonna hafta get them all. Besides, there weren't all that many with Ben as Spidey. You can basically skip all the minis (besides Redemption).

But I'd agree Sensational was probably the best of the runs.
