My personal favorite is the finale of Batman Begins

The scene had a sense of urgency and intensity to it. The entire city (well a good chunk of it) had gone completely insane. I liked the whole runaway subway thing. Gave it a roller-coaster feel. and that shot of Batman flying out of the subway car.. badassical.

Second favorite would be the finale of TDK with the sonar

and third would be the robbery in the opening of TDK.

I did like the final Riddler/Two-Face showdown in Forever, despite how badly protrayed Two-Face was.

Bank scene in Batman Forever.

Nolan's movies don't have excellent action scenes.

Dito Burton.

- First attack of the Red Triangle gang in Batman Returns
- The armoured truck chase in The Dark Knight

Those two are my favs.

The Arkham Asylum Scarecrow/SWAT sequence - Batman Begins

The Parking Lot capture of The Scarecrow - The Dark Knight

I really like the majority of Forever's action scenes, in particular his entrance and fight scene during the party, and when Batman emerged from the fire it was rather cool.

The Dark Knight had some good action scenes, the bank robbery and the semi truck chase (although I'm not much of a fan of the way the 'bat cycle' did that weird flip thing off the wall). Nolan's action scenes have a gritty vibe to them, and it's kinda cool sometimes.

we've had this thread a million times but its ok, I cant really decide, I like so many!

I agree with darkvengeance, there are too great moments to choose from. My personal favorite is the bat-wing sequence towards the climax of Batman '89. I love Jack's tone when he says "Come and get me, you gruesome son of a *****, come on!".

Best from Each Film, take what you will:

Batman:
-Escape from museum and car chase.

Batman Returns:
-First attack of the Red Triangle Gang

Batman Forever:
-Bank Heist
-Batman crashes the Nigmatech fundraiser

Batman & Robin:
-Batman vs Freeze while Batgirl and Robin face off against Bane

Batman Begins:
-Arkham and the chase scene
-Finale vs. Ra's Al Ghul

The Dark Knight:
-Bank Heist
-Parking Garage drug bust
-Hong Kong
-Chase scene
-Finale

That probably is one of my favorite pieces in cinematic history!:woot:

The scene in TDK at the party (both as Bruce without his Bat costume and the one later on with it). I just love the way Bale went about it beating up dudes without even looking at them when he walked through the hallway.

BATMAN - Axis Chemicals sequence it's a straight out of a comic book type of awesome.

Batman Returns - First time Batman goes against the red triangle circus gang in gotham plaza. The momentum created by Keaton emerging in front of the signal keeps going up until he talks to Gordon. Great Batman introduction.

Batman Forever - Batman crashing the Nigmatech party and then diving after Two-Face before emerging in the fire. The look on Kilmer's eyes when he emerges is priceless.

Batman & Robin - The entire museum sequence at the beginning. From fighting the hockey thugs with bat skates to being launched in a rocket and sky surfing, it's so over the top it can't help but entertain you.

Batman Begins - Batman at the docks minus the nice coat line.

The Dark Knight - The Tumbler Vs. The Slaughter Truck this was just too good for words.

Slaughter is the best medicine.

by far the most exciting action sequence in a bat film thus far.

every time i saw the truck flip it gave me goosebumps.

This thread begins and ends with Batman v Joker in MOTP.

It's the only time in all the films that someone gets a tooth kicked out of their mouth. :woot:

Runner up would be the armored car/Batmobile/Jokertruck/Batpod sequence. The Batmobile leaping to take the hit from the rocket launcher was great; classic Batman self-sacrificing. And the truck flip...so exhilarating.

And just because somebody else mentioned it, props are due to Bale's super-casual disarming of that Joker goon in the penthouse. What does he say, "Head's up, big boy" or something to that affect? Then quickly dismantling the shotgun. Badass.

Batman Forever - Batman crashing the Nigmatech party and then diving after Two-Face before emerging in the fire. The look on Kilmer's eyes when he emerges is priceless.

That may be the best Batman has ever looked in any film. The flames and everything - it's like a living painting.

Way too many to mention them all but the Sonar/Swat team rack up in TDK was absolutely thrilling.

-The Oswald Cobblepot School of Driving (just for that moment when Batman turns the 'Mobile into the Bat-Missile  )

How could I forget this one? It's fantastic.

"Just relax. I'll take care of the squealing, wretched, pinhead puppets of Gotham!!!"

Batman:
Batman's fight against the Joker's goons in the alley
Batman vs goons on Cathedral rooftop

Batman Returns:
Batman vs. Circus clowns before meeting the Penguin

Batman Forever:
1st fight scene
Battle in the Gotham Hotel

Batman & Robin:
1st fight with Mr. Freeze goons

Batman Begins:
Scarecrow's th
Batman vs. Ra's Al Ghul finale

The Dark Knight:
1st fight with Scarecrow's thugs
Fight in the club
Finale fight with policemen on construction site (This is probably my favorite fight in all the Batman movies)

BATMAN:

Alley fight
Batwing destruction
Cathedral fight

BATMAN RETURNS:

Second fight with Red Triangle Gang
Batmobile being taken over by Penguin

BATMAN FOREVER:

Fight at the bank
Fight at the Ritz Gotham

BATMAN AND ROBIN:

The first fight was well done and that's about it really.

BATMAN BEGINS:

Fight with the fake Ras Al Ghul
Tumbler chase
Fight with Ras Al Ghul on speeding train

THE DARK KNIGHT:

Fight at penthouse
Armored car chase
Joker interrogation- I know it's not really action packed, but like how Batman beat on the Joker and the Joker would just laugh. What makes it even better is, I didn't realize the hits were for real.

I'll also give a mention to Batmans dive down the tunnel at the end of Batman Forever. Say what you want about Joel but that scene was shot excellently with the spinning camera's and shots of the '?'s in the walls.

*flip, flip, flip, flip, flip, flip*

*breathe in and out...* Meow.

BOOM!!!

Batman 89; from Batman putting his suit on, AXIS explosion, the Joker's carnival, to the death of the clown was perfect for me.
