Which Batcave do you think was best? Batman (1989) gets my vote.

Believe it or not, I actually like the Forever cave the best.

B89 cave was the best. SURE the Begins cave is realistic, but the B89 cave is how I always pictured the bat cave.

crap!!! i meant to vote for Batman (89), not Batman (60s) :csad:

here's how i rank them:
1 - Batman '89
2 - Batman Begins

Mask of the Phantasm should have been on the poll...

Anyway, I picked the Returns one. It had a great feel whenever we had a plan of it.
The Begins one would be a close second.

I like Forever's cave the best to be honest, but TAS had a great Batcave too, Begins didnt have much to it imo.

i voted for batman (89) i just like the feel of it it looks like what the batcave would look like

Sorry if the TAS batcave wasn't on the poll, but I meant for this to be only the live action bat-films. :meow:

My vote was for Batman 89 but BB was a close second.
As Batman is only starting, I think that probably the batcave will improve in TDK. Batman Begins is also Batcave Begins :yay: , not yet a complete Batcave.

B89 Batcave: Dark, drippy, foggy, eerie, don't see it begin or end. Perfect.
Batman Returns: Shiny and smooth? Crappy.
BF/B&R: Huge, open spaced, more like a garage. Better looking in B&R
BB: In the movie I thought it was a real cave. They did a good job. In the DVD making of the cave it was impressive, but I always felt like asking "why not make it more like The Batcave. Where you could imagine Batman putting a computer there. Or the suit there. Or his lab on that little cliff.

BB's cave was just like a real cave with a couple of stuff in, there wasnt even anywere for Batman to do detective work and such, it was just like a place to put stuff what he didnt want people to see rather than a lair if you will.

BATMAN RETURNS has always had my favorite cave.

I liked the BATMAN BEGINS cave a lot too, but it hadn't been developed to the point where I could really endorse it. I'll be interested to see where they take it in THE DARK KNIGHT, and if it gets to a really cool point, it could replace RETURNS as my fave.

I liked the B89 cave because it had that great industrial look to it, with big support struts and gratings and rivets--the platform for the Batmobile itself was pretty sweet...

And then in Returns, we have little metal spinny things and no big Bat-computer. (although the costume vault was much better)

Forever was decent, don't remember B&R.

BB was pretty nice, but empty. (Although appropriately so) I liked the elevator. That was good. And the waterfall was nice.

guys, guys lets just wait and see the improvements made on the Begins cave in TDK. Im sure its going to be badass!

But then it is no longer the Begins Cave, it's The Dark Knight Cave.

Anyway, the worst I believe is the Returns cave. The '89 Cave was perhaps the most atmospheric, being mysterious, dark and actually looking like a cave (unlike some of the others which, as said already, looked like garages).

After watching this deleted scene from Batman Forever, I can say that the Batcave from that film it's not that bad, apart from the huge Batman logo on the wall (which doesn't appear on this deleted scene but was pretty funny imo), it really looks like a real cave, huge, with bats and all. I liked the blue tone as well.
And it's pretty dark, the way I like my caves. ;)
