Best Bryan Singer film?

I'm leaving out Public Access and Lion's Den since no one really talks about his earliest, earliest stuff. What do you like the best? His superhero stuff or his other films? Superman Returns better than past projects or not?

Even though I really like the X-Men movies, I have to go with SR. I feel that SR has a better story going with it, and its based on one character, Superman, which it gives more. Don't get me wrong, the X-men movies have a great story and characters, I just feel SR is better.

His best films IMO are Apt Pupil and Usual Suspects. His horrible whack pack writing team didn't write those films, so they aren't as polluted.

Ok, so you base your opinion on box-office earnings, but apt pupil and Usual suspects weren't HUGE money makers and didn't even come close to earning back their budget.

Suspects was great but does not stand up to repeat viewing.
Apt Pupil is awesome ... stunning acting from all involved.

But for me ... X2. Almost flawless.
