I wouldn't call any of those ensembles. Ensembles are generally filled rather prestigious names, and the films generally revolve around a different set of characters rather than just one main character.
Braveheart revolves mostly around William Wallace, and outside of Gibson there was no one else that would put it on level with most prestigious ensembles mentioned in this thread.
But still had a rather large cast of characters that were very well developed and gave great performances.
Hannibal had an impressive lineup, I'll give you that. But the film itself was underwhelming and outside of Hopkins and Moore the rest of the cast had little to do.
I loved Oldman, the way Giannini subtlety conveyed his fear while showing that he was trying not to let Lecter know it was great, Liotta played probably the single best egotistical heal ever in a film, not to mention that his performance during the lobotomy(a very awkard thing for an actor to have to convey)sold the sequence more than the effects did.
The Passion Of The Christ didn't really have any prestigious names and revolved pretty much entirely around Jesus Christ.
