Best/Cheesy lines from the movie...

You realize a good part of Braveheart's cast was Irish, right?

Some of you brought up Micro's banger friends bad accent, how the hell does that happen?

Uh, yea, extras and stuff..... just about every character with a speaking role was unsing an english or scottish accent, Maginty sounded Irish, like Bono or Colin Farrell. I thought he was cool, and I love the way he got killed. The Latin Kings guy on the other hand, I have no excuse for his accent since he probably IS hispanic to begin with.

For all the talk about the 80's style violence, Maginty/McGinty's death was underwhelming and a bad effect at that, something that looks like some throwback to the 80's. Between an obvious dummy body and that rubbery looking head stomp, I can't understand how people can't tell good SPFX ultra-violence from bad. But I've thought that since some people told me Freddy vs. Jason had good FX, and the Dawn of the Dead remake had bad FX.

Hahaha I loved that Jigsaw line.

The one line I wish Frank said was at the end, when Julie Benz says:
"He said you were one of the good guys."

That would've been the perfect opportunity to show Frank's character by saying:

"I'm not."

Alas, it didn't happen.

You and I think alike. That was EXACTLY what I wanted him to say.

Jigsaw made me laugh. And in the good kind of way I mean. I thought the whole recruit speech was great. I liked that shot of him walking all army like down the street. He just made me laugh but he was frightening at the same time.

Like Joker.

I also loved how Jigsaw and LBJ were "marching" down the street, it was hillarious. Their characters were great, though I thought Jigsaw was better.

I liked the whole "put you outta my misery" line that was great!

Off topic ! Besides , You couldn't tell this film was low budget from the trailer?

Budiansky-"You have the right to SHUT THE **** UP"

And the hole "Krispy Kream Mother ****ers"

I really did love the movie.

The Last Line Of the movie, with Soap getting mugged cracked me up for some strange reason.

Decent 80's style gore effects can be pulled off depending on how the props are shot and edited, and are not supposed to last longer than 3 seconds. Lingering is what ruins it, leaves less to your imagination.

The effects in this were better than most 80's action movies gore that Ive ever seen.

i thought when soap rushed in to help budiansky in the house and budiansky yelled "give me your gun" to him .

Your opinion, I seen alot of frozen expression rubber heads myself. Nowt that they looked bad, the effect just wasn't shot or edited in a flattering way. Especially McGinty, Inks last snort, and the kitchen shotgun blast.

Name a film in the same genre that has better shot gore scenes.

You know what, it's not even worth naming movies off anymore, because I have such an obvious contrast with some of you in terms of what looks good and what looks bad. I just wish I had the rose colored glasses some of you had watching this, because I really, really, really wanted to like it. To each their own, I dont know what I was expecting that was so different that set my bar so damn high...

*Frank walks out of Micro's apt.*
Microchip: Pull me a pair of Baretta's
Banger: But he...
Microchip: Just do it.
*The Banger moves to one of the weapons racks*
Microchip: 3 ... 2 ...
*Frank walks back into the apt.*
Frank: Billy's the last one...

it's one thing to voice your opinion but now your at the point of condescending everyone else.

Sorry, but I am being serious. I do like quite a bit of bad movies and own more than a few on DVD, but I couldn't embrace this one. It just didn't sit well with me.

Nivek... I am with you on this. I will add

Any movie with Tom Savini SFX

As for cheesy lines, I will contribute with every line spoken between the opening credits and closing credits. This was one movie where I did not try to hold off on a restroom break. I almost did not come back, but I left my car keys in the theater.

What's with Jigsaw trying to do a Jack Nicholson Joker Introduction?

How else would he do it? His face didn't just come out like that after the accident. He needed a doctor. Naturally he'd want to look in the mirror as well to see the result so...I don't see where you're going. What makes the scene uniquely Joker? Did I miss the part where he smashed the mirror and walked out of the room laughing maniacally?
