I have to say Titanic. All hype aside, it was a damn good movie.

My brain says Good Will Hunting, but my heart says Con Air.

From the poll, Jurassic Park beats out Titanic for me.

Back when I was still a kid and watched movies 'differently'
Con Air
Fifth Element
Hercules
Contact

My top 3:

1) Starship Troopers
2) Good Will Hunting
3) Gattacca

... now counting the minutes it takes a Mod to move this to the Movies forum...

Someone seriously voted for Steel?

It's The Lost World: Jurassic Park!

And it is the best for me.

I'm having a hard time choosing between Event Horizon, and Free Willy 3.

I swear Titanic is the only one that doesn't look like it was released that year. The effects were ahead of its time

It's between Face/Off and L.A. Confidential.

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery

My favorite flicks from that year were LA Confidential, Gross Pointe Blank and The Fifth Element.

Chasing Amy and Starship Troppers were excellent as well.

Edit:...and Good Will Hunting.
