Out of the wide known (obvious winners), my favorite pieces would have to be:

- The Force theme (Luke looking at the horizon, etc) from (every episode of) Star Wars
- James Bond theme from the Brosnan/Craig Bond films.
- Mission: Impossible theme from Mission: Impossible and M:I:III

These aren't my votes, though.

The Force Theme is probably the best. Most agree at the score for Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back are about as good as it gets. Star Wars is nothing without its score. And I mean that. Its no coincidence that the two most successful filmmakers in the industry both use the same composer.
