Best movie theme:Voting thread

Man, so many great themes on this list, but I guess I have to go with Superman. Leaving so many great ones out, like Star Wars main, Indy, etc. is really hard for me to do, but whenever I hear this theme, I get pumped. I hated SR, but the opening credits with this theme was a great sequence (and the only enjoyable part of the movie for me). This theme personifies Superman. It is heroic, and wonderful.

You know, you could debate most of John Williams' themes for hours and come up with a quality choice.

I marvel at what he has brought to cinema. He's one of those who can't be replaced and will be sorely missed!

Star Wars is probably the best known, but I think the Indiana Jones theme has a little more heart to it.

jurassic park is my no.2, even though the film is mediocre, the tune when the helicopter is coming in etc, that's stayed with me forever. however, requiem for a dream is such a powerful theme song, I saw it being used in a trailer for something new the other day It has the most impact. Obviously Jaws is classic but so overused It's become a farce.
