So with the end of the year quickly approaching everyone is starting to make their 'best of' lists.

My question is, What do people consider the best new tv show of 2013...or your top 5..top 3..top 10 whatever. From all of the Top 10 shows of 2013 lists I have been seeing, many new shows in 2013 have made quite the name for themselves. Orphan Black, Masters of Sex, Orange is the New Black, Hannibal, Sleepy Hollow, The Fall, House of Cards, Top of the Lake, Rectify, The Returned etc..have all made some impacts in the top 10 lists.

So SHH, what are the best new TV shows of 2013 (And selfishly, I am always looking to add new TV shows to watch :)_)

For me its a tie between 'Orphan Black' and 'Masters of Sex'.

I'm hearing so much good about Masters of Sex, I might have to jump back into Showtime.

Masters of Sex has been very solid so far. Definitely recommend it.

I haven't watched many of the cable network's offerings, but I think FOX has hit home runs with Almost Human, Brooklyn Nine-Nine & Sleepy Hollow. All three have been extremely entertaining in their respective genres.

Bates Motel was such a great surprise for me, and it's really good, so I'm voting for that. However I also enjoyed Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, and to a lesser extent The Bridge quite a lot as well.

Rectify.

I absolutely loved this series. It's well written and the visuals are beautiful.

From the ones I've seen, Hannibal was tops. I really enjoyed The Americans, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, The Fall and Agents of SHIELD as well.

But I need to watch Rectify and Orphan Black.

Didn't care for The Bridge or Bates Motel, and I think I'm about to drop Almost Human.

Oh Hannibal was great too. Thinking about it, I think I'm going to choose that one.

Quite a few on the list I enjoy, but Hannibal has to take my top spot (only just squeaking by Orange is The New Black)

Easily Hannibal. Also liked Ray Donovan a lot.

I count 15 shows from the poll that I watch, and here I thought I don't watch much TV series but top 5 I'd probably say Hannibal, Les revenants, Rectify, Orphan Black and House of Cards.

It's not the best show, but I'm enjoying The Tomorrow People! :)

Don't know if it counts, but I live for AHS: Coven. Sleepy Hollow and The Blacklist have also been great.

I really like Bates Motel and House of Cards but I think I have to give it to the Crazy Ones.

I voted Brooklyn 99 but The Goldbergs is up there for me too.

Agents of SHIELD

I'm also watching Sleepy Hollow.I'm not really into horror, but it has a great cast and an interesting story.

I just started watching Almost Human.Dr McCoy and Geordie LaForge Jr set in a Blade Runner sequel. What's not to like?

Hannibal, The Bridge, Ray Donovan, Masters of Sex, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Bates Motel

Top 5 New Shows of 2013
1 House of Cards
2 Orphan Black
3 Brooklyn Nine-Nine
4 Hannibal
5 The Americans

1-4 would probably make my Top 10 of 2013

Yet to Watch/Finish
Orange Is The New Black
Masters of Sex
Broadchurch
Top of the Lake
Rectify

Disappointed With

The Bridge
Bates Motel
Ray Donovan
AHS: Coven
Agents of SHIELD

Honestly, now that I've seen Orphan Black, I kinda wish I could change my vote to that. My other vote, Hannibal, is brilliant and the more tightly-executed (both in writing and directing) of the two for sure, but OB is just such a roller coaster, a totally wild ride, and I honestly had the strongest urge to re-watch the whole season just as soon as I finished it. Not sure that's ever happened to me with a show before. And that lead performance - or should I say performances (is it plural when it's the same person in the same gig)? Wow, just mind-blowing to me.

Voted for Orphan Black.

But I definitely need to check out some of these shows because I really haven't been watching new shows recently.
