Best Rescues: Name Your Favs

Last nights epi had a couple of cool rescues. And I was wondering, what peoples favorite rescue sequences were:

I really like Clark's rescue of the movie star (another guest star who can't act). But the sequence of him spinning around, catching her, and then taking the car door in the back of the head was great.



But my penultimate rescue in Smallville so far is:

The Myx episode. When Clark stops playing football mid play, runs into the stands, smokes Myx.... and gets back to the field in time to get smoked by the D-Line. I think that was probably my favorite rescue sequence in the entire series.

My absolute favourite is that comic book kid's rescue. I can't remember if it happened in the episode "Stray" where Ryan was introduced or not, but I'm talking about how he ended up in the garbage compressor, and how Clark tore his way through the metal to get to him, just like Ryan's comic book hero. The whole episode kinda culminated on that and pictured Clark... well, something that he is.

I freaking loved it. Almost cried out of joy.

I think when Clark saved Smallville by dismantling the missle in Hidden is one or THE most exciting scenes in the series.

But my penultimate rescue in Smallville so far is:

I LOVED that save! It was completely awesome... not entirely plausible (I think it pushed my willing suspension of disbelief to almost the breaking point) but awesome still the same!

Sorry to be a grammarian, but "penultimate" actually means "Before the end" as in "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is the penultimate book in the Harry Potter series."

But to answer your question, my fave is the leap in "Insurgence." For one, it was the first time we saw the DP on Smallville, and was the first time Clark really took to the skies. Also, I love the goofy look on his face in mid-air!

that was a good save. i liked the one in zero were he saved Lex while, pushing the fella away.

i like the one where he gets the bomb when the counter has like reached zero or something, runs out to some abandoned shack??? and gets back or something before it blows. i love when supes moves that fast

I never noticed this before, but the little boy at the very end looks right at the camera with a little smirk. Cutie.

I've seen it so many times in the opening sequence that it's lost its glory.

i think the last episode where he jumped off the building and saved lana, i'm a little hyped on it right now, i will give a better/more fair judgement later when i calm down

This is it for me! I was practically shouting at the tv as it was happening! I thought he was flying.

-this one

-the part where clark flies to the truck lana's in during the tornado scene
-the part where clark stops the water from killing the guy and his son in the start of Season 7
-the missile (looked like he flew to it)
-flying to save Lana from falling off of the building
-anytime he runs in to deflect a bullet
