Granted this would have probably been better in the Films or TV sections; but being that there have been reveals (characters, plot twists, etc.) in all media whether it be film, television, interviews, and even comic books I thought why not just bring it to the Community where everyone can chime in for every genre.

So what, in your opinion, are some of the best reveals in movies, TV shows, comic books, etc.?

Well, fresh in my memory....

X-men Origins Wolverine
and Gi Joe the Rise of Cobra
both character-come-alive reveals

I've always liked Frank N Furter's reveal in Rocky Horror. So sexy.

SW: TESB
Sixth Sense
Unbreakable

These movies come to mind right away.

Sixth Sense reveal hit me like two seconds before it came. ''OHHHH, HE'S DEAD."

Keyser ****ing Söze

The final episode of Newhart when it's revealed that the entire series was a bad dream of Newhart's character from The Bob Newhart Show. It was a play on Dallas, but Newhart did it better.

The secret to Borden's trick in The Prestige. Pure gold.

-Neo finding out what the Matrix is.

-That Spike was fighting to get his soul back at the end of Buffy s6(although I did guess this, I have read of others who did not, and it was a great reveal/series cliffhanger combo anyway)

- All the pieces falling together at the end of Signs, yes, I liked this, especially there being a reason for why the kid was always so fussy about her water('it has ameobas in it!')

- The Stranger's plan in Dark City

- That the Planet of the Apes is in fact just down the road from Charlton Heston's old house!

Nicole Kidman and her kids finding out THEY are the ghosts in the house and not the other way around in The Others :wow:

Batman dropping behind the 2 punks and lowering his cape while they are talking in Batman :awesome:

Ed Norton's character finding out who Tyler Durden is in Fight Club.

Ecto 1 coming out of the firehouse for the first time in the first Ghostbusters :woot:.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic - The reveal on the Leviathan

A few of my favorites...

The first time Wolverine uses his claws in X-Men
When Chucky finally reveals himself to be alive "YOU STUPID *****, YOU FILTHY ****!"
Blade's reveal in the blood club.
When Drusilla kills Darla.
Giles showing up to take out Dark Willow.
Spike attempting to bite Willow, cut back to the next seen and you see that he can't.

From Doctor Who

"Chan...then who are you...tho?"

"I. AM. THE MASTER"

From Watchmen

"I did it 35 minutes ago"

The end of the graphic novel "Chosen".

The end of 1984.

The Delorean time machine backing out of Doc's van in BTTF part 1

Admiral Kirk seeing the 'new' refitted USS Enterprise in Star Trek TMP

Clark turning into Superman to save Lois in Superman the movie

Call me biased:

And then we've got:
the Turtles in their first movie
Darth Vader's in Star Wars
Batman's return in TDKR
John Doe's present for Detective Mills
The identity of the killer in the beginning of John Carpenter's Halloween
Jason Voorhees jumps out of the lake
Uncle Ben's killer in Amazing Fantasy #15
Superman saving Lois in Donner's first movie
The identity of the dead man on the floor in Saw

That's all I can think of.

The final episode of Newhart when it's revealed that the entire series was a bad dream of Newhart's character from The Bob Newhart Show. It was a play on Dallas, but Newhart did it better.

From Doctor Who

"Chan...then who are you...tho?"

"I. AM. THE MASTER"

From Watchmen

"I did it 35 minutes ago"

I also liked

"THE MASTER RACE!"

Adding to that...

The Master: "You're right. I'm not Harold Saxon."
Mrs. Rook: "Then who are you?"
The Master: "I am The Master. And these are my friends."
Toclafane 1: "The lady doesn't like us."
Toclafane 2: "Silly lady..."
Mrs. Rook: "No..."
Toclafane 2: "DEAD LADY"
