*safest P2P. Sorry for the errors.

Well I haven't been here in forever, but I'm finally getting road runner this saturday and I was wondering what the best and safest P2P program is, with the most stuff I can get. I mean, not point in safe P2P if it has a very limited selection.

So:
1. Can I get in trouble for DLing music? HOw about if I don't host it?
2. What's the best P2P program. Explain why.

I just am very curious what your opinions are.

Everything is illegal in today's world.

Just like everything gives you cancer.

Thanks for the advice. You're fired! Oops....I owe trump like 10 cents now...if I don't pay up I guess that might be illegal? jk haha

but what is least likely to get me in any trouble.

You can get in trouble but meh, who cares? Your chances of getting caught are slim to none. Try downloading BitLord, then searching at torrentspy or thepiratebay.org for torrents which you'll then download and open in BitLord for downloading/sharing. Kazaa Lite Ressurection 0.0.8 is a good alternative.

If you want to take advantage of the intangible nature of intellectual property, then I loathe your LEECH-ASS.

And I hope, someday...when you've busted ass to try and create something that will be profitable, that some carbunkle-faced, teen-aged hypocritical ASS-F***, will come and find a way to make sure that you never enjoy any rewards for your toil.

:down

Please go directly to HELL. You parasitic-loser.

Gee thanks to that constructive criticism I'm never downloading another thing again.

Try to come up with better ways to convince me not to download instead of two dimensional generic bull**** insults. Thanks. :)

Suddenly I want to download even more stuff. Dammit Wil, you're turning me into a hardcore criminal here, I usually only download stuff I can't find/don't have the money for and will eventually buy. :(

Sounds like someone didn't quite cut it on the local scene. Jesus man relax. People don't fail because their music gets downloaded, most money generated comes from touring a lot. Or at least, that's my experience. I book shows and play bass and I've found most bands are understand and cool that not everyone has 15-20 dollars to spare. I support live music, and that most definitely gives bands more money than buying a CD ever would.

I know someone who downloaded LimeWire...when you first click download, it asks if you're going to use it for pirating...he said yes to be funny.

One week later, he got arrested and fined.

Greatest four sentence story ever. :D

That's hillarious dude. Wow.

That sucks.
What was the fine?

Hahaha. Wilhelm-Scream sounded like quite the ***** with that post. I download music... but I only do it to discover new bands and to make sure I like an album before actually purchasing it. I'm not going to go out and spend the little money I have on albums that may end up sucking. I would have never bought many of the cd's I own right now if it weren't for downloading the albums online. I'm pretty sure there are many bands out there that profit greatly due to file sharing.

I think the fine was $300 something...I want to say it was more than that (as in $400 or $500) but I honestly can't recall.

I know it was $300 give, no take.

How many albums do you guys have where EVERY single song is awesome and has infinite replayability?

IE: Not like Nelly Furtados new album where people most likely only like "Promiscuous" out of the 12-13 songs on the CD.

It's rare. But I'd say Blood Sugar Sex Magik and London Calling are gold. But super rare. D/Ling helps bands out more IMO. It makes me want to go to the shows of more people. PLus the music stores here only have mainstream stuff.

Sorry, You BARNACLE,...but artists deserve to be compensated.

It's not my fault that you're a cheap bastard-thief. :(

"Peer-to-Peer" is a convenient euphemism for "ASS****". :(

I can't wait until you create something as powerful as "Superman" was...and you are left to die as a f***ing idiot...blind and DUMB.

Enjoy, you anti-comics DICK. :(

I really honestly hate your guts like CRAZY!

I have quite a few. Those are the albums I look for. If I can discover a band where I can listen to every song and love every song then I will purchase anything of theirs. I'm not sure if anything has total infinite replayablitlity... atleast with me. I'll listen to a great album until another great album comes along and then I'll listen to that one. I mean there are albums that you'll listen to again and again over time and in the future, but yeah. I'll name some recent albums (released in either 2005 or 2006) I've been listening to where I love every single track on the album.

"Mabool: The Story Of The Three Sons Of Seven" - Orphaned Land
"10,000 Days" - Tool
"From Mars To Sirius" - Gojira
"Amputechture" - The Mars Volta
"Stabbing The Drama" - Soilwork
"Youth" - Matisyahu
"Symmetric In Design" - Scar Symmetry
"Wolfmother" - Wolfmother
"Touched By The Crimson King" - Demons & Wizards
"Hypnotize" - System Of A Down

I'm not going to bother naming classic albums from The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, etc. off because well... those are all great and I basically love almost every album they have released. They are the few who have infinite replayablitlity.

^ very mainstream...I haven't heard of any of them.

I'd use torrents over things like Kazaa, Limewire, and Bearshare

F*** YOU!

I was lololing because I agree with you skank.
If I made an awesome movie then a bunch of little ****s steal it over the internet, heads would roll. Only artists would understand.

But what if I paid to see it at a theatre (maybe more than once), and plan on buying the DVD?
