I dont really consider Fast Times a sex comedy. That term makes me think more of the movies listed in the poll and Fast Times isnt really cheap like that..

My fav is also Revenge of the Nerds. I think its probably my fav "80's movie". Loverboy is great too. Never saw Hardbodies though I always wanted to..

You know, I agree now that I think about it. Fast Times actually has a lot of social commentary in it in that it shows the darker side of sex rather than use it as mere way of gaining laughs. So, I agree with you.

I consider sex comedies as comedies that focus primarily on sex, and more often than not, make light of the act. As FOG and ANTHONYNASTI stated, Fast Times. . . was a lot broader in its subject matter and how it dealt with it.

Are we gonna take every romantic comedy that features people having sex and call it a "sex comedy"?

Loverboy was a pretty amusing 80's movie with a thin kirstey alley to boot...I also remember patrick dempsey in an action comedy called "run" which was pretty amusing.

Is lover boy a sex comedy, or is it just a comedy with sex?......not so sure if it counts....otherwise anything with a sexual element in it would count like weird science or something.....

it's not 80's but the best sex comedy ever made is The 40-Year Old Virgin without question..still hilarious, a little risque without being gross-out........
