I'm only going to refer to over-the-air American TV networks since 1994-95 when FOX started covering the NHL. I'm aware that NBC covered the All-Star Game from 1990-1994 and ABC "experimented" (only covering the final three weeks of the regular season and the first three weeks of the playoffs) with the NHL in 1992-93 through 1993-94. However, I consider FOX's deal to be the first actual, major, modern day NHL American TV coverage.

FOX (1994-95 through 1998-99)

ABC (1999-2000 through 2003-04)

NBC (2005-06 through present)

NBC. If CBC has Bob Cole/Greg Millen doing the same game as NBC, I'm watching NBC. If Jim Hughson/Craig Simpson are doing a game for CBC I'll probably keep it on CBC. Sucks that clown Milbury is on both networks.
