My favorite moment from that episode.

My favorite moment too. I love how Kettleman's got her husband under her thumb.

Hahaha, I just realized Craig Kettleman was the guy in Birdman that gets a light fixture dropped on his head.

I felt that was why the waitress offering coffee to Jimmy and Mr. and Mrs. Kettleman was a significant moment. Mr. K was the only one who wanted coffee, but his wife waved the waitress away before he got a chance to answer. Mrs. K always speaks for him, you just know she was the one convinced her husband- or ordered him- to steal the cash in the first place.

Ya it's pretty obvious especially when you take into account his dumbass was writing checks to himself haha. You would think that a guy who deals with finances would have at least a slight clue in how to steal money and get away with it

Ever so nice to see Jimmy turn the tables on the Kettleman's. Boy that wife was some piece of work. It's like she believed that as long as they didn't admit guilt and kept arguing about it that that would constitute some kind of insurmountable defense. Damn nut case. Another great episode in the bag.

I'm loving this show.

By the way, does anyone know the name of the song during the sequence in which Mike is at the Kettleman's house?

I have no doubt that writing checks to himself was Betsy's idea.

This show has illicit more emotion out of me than BB. Mike and Saul crying really caught me off guard. :(

Good episode today. It was nice seeing things go well for Jimmy, even if we know it will all come tumbling down.

I enjoyed Mike's gateway to the crimeville, didn't take long!

Liked seeing the origin of Jimmy's hatred for Hamlin. I don't know why, but it never occurred to me that he got turned down from a job he wanted at HHM.

I really liked this episode. It's pretty obvious what's going to happen

[blackout]Hamlin will steal the case because Chuck is an employee. also, Chuck's code was used to print the cases[/blackout]

Ugh its really frustrating how I keep rooting for Jimmy and then I remember what he eventually becomes, I think that's what gives the show that extra layer of depth, if BB didn't exist it would feel more stright-forward but the fact that we know the outcome makes it all more interesting to get to know what led the character to change so much.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. Jimmy then changes his name/embraces Saul out of spite. This show is great.

It's funny, what ought to be a triumphant episode for Jimmy feels so ominous and potentially tragic. We know what he's going to become so it's highly unlikely he's going to win this case. Some wrench will be thrown in the gears. Waiting for the other shoe to drop is going to be uncomfortable.

I wonder what it's like watching this show without having seen BrBa?

This case could potentially be his "Grey Matter"

God damn, this is so good. I mean, it all just feels so perfect given what we know becomes of Saul and who he is by the time BB comes around. I'm really going to have to watch BB again some time soon.

It's a lot more tragic than I'd have thought. Jimmy is so easy to root for as a character and so put down for trying to do the right thing. He's very much a guy stuck because of his past mistakes. No matter what he does everyone still sees him as Slippin Jimmy. It's gonna be sad to see him give up and go fully into the dark side. Saul Goodman is very much the apex version of Slippin Jimmy.

It's funny, I use to look forward to the gangsta stuff. Now I'm just as excited to see the corporate lawyer material.

This is show is versatile and always hitting the right notes.

Plus it seems like they're building the backstory with repeat viewings in mind.

This past episode should've been a triumph for Jimmy, but it doesn't because we all know what becomes of him. Man, this show is knocking out of the park on all fronts.
