Either Kim and Jimmy have done a remarkable job of not aging or the University of American Samoa screwed up the date on that diploma.

Though the name on it is Saul Goodman, not James McGill. That diploma could be a forgery.

Ahhh, haha I get it now. And of course Saul would forge himself a new diploma

It was definitely the 90's during the flashbacks.

This show is working on so many levels, but I wonder if they'll ever reach the same level of intensity/stakes as Breaking Bad at it's best. Will Better Call Saul ever have a "Half Measure/Full Measure" or "Face Off"? Or would Jimmy/Saul's status as being relatively small-time before getting involved with Walt not allow for something like that? I guess there is that event with Nacho that we know goes down at some point...

I guess we'll see.

And on the flip side, I wanna see how Saul finds his A-Team.

“There is a character who is absolutely key in this episode who has been introduced, but as far as I can tell nobody out there has realized the significance of this person. This person turns out to be really pivotal in Jimmy’s life.”
Totes Francesca. :o

Maybe, but I thought he was referring to a Better Call Saul character.

She was there the whole time! :ninja:

They are doing a little marathon leading up to the finale and I've had it tuned in. The scene were he tells Chuck about the degree and passing tha bar makes so much more sense after last weeks revelation. Also When Hamlin comes in right after you know Chuck sent him in there to destroy his hopes

I actually am a little underwhelmed from the finale, def the worst of the season. But good to Saul coming to fruition. Can't wait for next season though

Not an exciting finale, but it served as more of a denouement to the climax in "Pimento". It tied up the character arcs of almost everyone, so even if we didn't get a season two (which I think we will), it fills in the blanks to Jimmy's past just fine.

I loved the Breaking Bad call backs, particularly the Kevin Costner one.

I actually liked it. I loved when he went back to Chicago, and I loved the last min.

Can't wait for next season. This show is off to a great start.

I enjoyed it, it's not the best episode of the season, but it's a very fitting and logical ending for the season.

I love all the easter eggs from Breaking Bad. And that classic neon montage was f***in stellar.:up:

I found the first half to be a bore but it got so much better once the montage of him and Marco doing their "jobs" started.

The Kevin Costner BB callback was my favorite. :hehe:

The montage was definitely great.

I loved the final moment, Jimmy smiling, it was a nice upbeat ending which I wasn't expecting.

It was a good episode for me, the characters in this show are amazing, and it almost works as a series finale if they want to.
What's great about what Jimmy learned during this episode is that he will be in full Saul mode by season 2, and I'm sure the show will get darker, more dangerous, in a Breaking Bad way.

I'm glad season 2 has already been greenlit since that would be a rather unsatisfying end

F' your Fuji apples, Chuck! :cmad:

I'm going to miss this show.

Good first season, I liked tonight's episodes especially the latter half. But the best episode this season for me was that entirely Mike-centric episode for sure.

My favorites were the Mike-centric one and last week's. Top notch acting and writing all around.

The Kevin Costner bit AND Belize all in one episode? :awesome:

Not an overly exciting end to the season, but a good finale nonetheless.

Yeah, it ended to a point where you kind of suspected with Jimmy just realizing... who he was and that was it. Which is fitting I guess. Not the most overly exciting thing in the world but it works. It serves as a nice series finale if need be, but also pushes us ahead to where he's gonna go in season 2. I kind of wanted to see more of this Jimmy, but I guess he can only take so much and keep getting stepped on for what he was doing. No use stretching that out any longer. It's sad, because I was really pulling for him to get that job.

Plus, who do you think Mike was talking to at the end? Could be a season 2 tease.

Now that Jimmy seems to be in Saul mode, I'm excited to see where he's heading. Who knows if it's going to go as smoothly as he thinks now that he's embraced Saul. I'm just wondering when he's gonna get his lawfirm building from BB, because that will be a big step. But I still don't think the road to getting there will be as easy at all. Now that he's going to make these choices, his life's going to get more complicated. That's a lot of unexplored territory right there. And I wanna see more Nacho.
