Apparently they screened clips or the full next episode at the show's Paleyfest panel, and it sounds like we've got another cameo coming our way...

It was awesome seeing good ol' [BLACKOUT]Hector Salamanca[/BLACKOUT] in tonight's episode. It totally caught me off guard because I didn't see the article that spoiled the cameo, even though it makes sense to see him show up.

That cameo! I knew who it was the moment they [blackout]showed how he's walking. [/blackout]

They showed the better side of Chuck tonight which was nice to see. This episode was more of a Chuck and Kim episode. LOL I totally work with someone like Erin. I feel your frustration, Jimmy! :funny:

The cameo surprised me!

I keep flip-flopping on Chuck. I wasn't thinking he was too bad, then in the opening scene he's a total ass, but later we find why he's really so nasty to Jimmy all the time. It's great characterization!

Wonder if Mike crossing paths with [blackout]Hector[/blackout] puts him on the road to...

What I love is we don't even know if Chuck's story about their father is true. It could very well be (and I think it is) but Chuck is such a gray character that I can never trust nor dismiss him fully. The writing is SO good.

I'm thinking that it could go many possible ways (IF the story is exactly as Chuck tells it). Here's just a few possibilities:

Either Jimmy did steal from their dad, or Jimmy took the money for legit reasons, or it was just the dad being stupid with the money and Chuck assumed it was good 'ol Slippin' Jimmy, since his biases lead that way already.

I was thinking the dad took it, but then why would he ask his straitlaced son to look at the books? Jimmy probably stole the money, but ultimately for good reasons.

I'm liking the dynamic between Erin and Jimmy. They're such polar opposites.

Good to see Tio Hector in relatively good shape. Mike's half measure has come back to bite him.

Great episode, I'm glad it was mostly focused on Kim and Chuck since they usually don't get much screentime. That Tio cameo was awesome

Also, I'm so tired of people complaining that the show is "too slow" and stuff like that, people shouldn't be expecting the show to turn into BB, it should be obvious by now.

OMG Erin is the worst. I think this episode made me hate her as much as Desi on Girls and the Guilty Remnant on The Leftovers.

I don't know if I'd say the show is too slow. Or even a slow burn for that matter.

I think the problem with the shows is, to me, not a lot of the characters are interesting other than Mike, Saul/Jimmy, and Chuck.

That being said, I really did enjoy those last 2 episodes especially the one with Tuco from last week.

Banks gave me chills! :csad:
I loved watching Kim grinding to get that big contract.

I'm pretty sure that's the first we've ever seen Hector speaking English, yes? Whenever we saw him mobile in the BrBa flashbacks, he only ever spoke Spanish.

It has to, I'd imagine!

I think it's pretty safe to say Gus will come into the show in a big way at some point with Mike having such a large role on the show, hope he makes one hell of an entrance. I have to admit, as much as I love this show so far, I think I'd have preferred the spinoff centering on Mike with Jimmy becoming Saul as the B-plot.

I'd have to agree with you. I'm way more invested in Mike's story than Jimmy's at this point.

Mike works much better as a supportive character

Jimmy's story will pick up once he becomes Saul and gets involved in criminal schemes. Mike's already entered that world. That's why he's more interesting at this time.
