Big News: Bond 22 Movements

Well Pinewood's almost ready to open, sometime in the next few days was the last I heard. Anyway, it appears the Bond machine is starting to move out of 1st gear. I've heard stuff about the film, but nothing really above a whisper. More gossip and news is coming out about other Brit films and bigger stuff like Iron Man and Indie 4. But back to Bond. As far as anyone knows the script is a closely guarded secret. Purvis and Wade are indeed back despite some claims, but don't worry, the odds on a new messer are very very high, expect news on that in the summer. But as far as I know Risico and the Hildebrand Rarity are the 2 stories having most influence on the script, the big word going around is that 007 (sadly) will be involved in the drug world again. Come on EON remember LTK!!!
Nothing on the director, though don't count on Campbell's return. He doesn't want back in and nor does Craig want him in.
Nothing on casting, but with a lot of digging I've found that the prods may go to a ditched idea from Goldeneye, the villian of the piece MAY be an old mentor of Bond's.

What a shame! If it goes this route, Daniel Craig will be the biggest letdown since Lazenby.

Well, if they're basing it on Risico, it would probably be about drug smuggling and the elements from Risico in FYEO (my favorite Bond) were the best parts of the movie IMO. LALD was also about drug dealers and was a great story. It doesn't HAVE to be LTK all over just because it involves the drug world.

LTK sucked but that wasn't the only Bond movie revolved around drugs. 'Live and Let Die' was also, and that's one of my favs.
