Bird damages nose of plane during flight

reminds me of a Bill Engvall bit "a plane had to land cause a door fell off cause a bird hit it, what kind of bird could do that, I thought they were extinct?" I am just paraphrasing there but you get the idea.

What kind of bird could do that!?!

It's not a bird, this is all a big coverup. The plane hit a Covenant scouting drone, they just won't admit it.

In all seriousness. It was probably a goose or large bird of prey.

Is this why all those people seemed suprised when they yelled it's a bird, it's a plane?

Ba dum tush.

At those speeds a bird the size of a chicken can do substantial damage. Companies actually test airplane windshields by launching whole chickens at the windshields using pneumatic cannons. Feathered dead chickens like you buy at the grocery store. Not live ones.

Mythbusters had a couple episodes of that, they did frozen and thawed ones

Good god it must have been a damn pterodactyl. That's a massive hole.

The bird's attorney will probably file a Pelican brief.
