Latino review has a review of a script for a Bizarro movie. I don't know...I think it could work as a sequel to returns if they wanted to.

Why does it have to be linked to returns?. it's not like the movie wow'd audiences. If it was linked with SR in any way it would just be another epic fail.

It's a fun idea, and very interesting how they tied it to the Donner films. But this is better saved for one of the animated DTV's than a live action feature.

In fact I would really like to see it if they went that route. They could base all of the character designs on the old films as well.

Though not the direction I would take Superman's franchise in the future, that sounds like it could be fun.

A comedy about Bizarro World could probably be funny. But due to it's ties to the Superman franchise, that is difficult to do.

The idea seems pretty lame. I'm all for spin-offs (I'd LOVE a Jimmy Olsen film), but the idea just sounds a bit stupid.

I like this idea, but focus it more on Superman instead of Bizarro.

But making it a sequel to the underrated/underappreciated SR and linking it to Zod and Ursa is a great move imo, and making it shorter and funnier and action packed will prolly make it a bigger box office hit and a bigger hit among the fans and the general movie going audience.

it sounds fun and i'd be into it, bust just as a timm produced dvd or something...i can't see this possibly workingor even getting any interest as an actual motion picture...it'd be interesting to see what happens when supes returns, after bizarro has beat zod & co...

Yea i think bizarro could be a great villain to use in a film. But make him equal time with superman and it would be better to set up in a sequel to a reboot series and all that.

Frankly I don't think audiences would give a damn about whether or not it was tied to Superman Returns or if it were a reboot. The only people who care about that stuff are we Superman fans.

Yall should click the link and listen to the article it's not a bizarro movie its a supes movie with Bizarro being the main foil and general Zod trying to use the threat of him to take over the earth. Of course half way though Supes leaves and it's not clear when or if he shows back up which would me bizzaro have to save lois and world from Zod.

exactly...I don't think you can call it a spin-off cause Superman is in it. With a little tweaking this could be a cool superman movie. Maybe even have New Krypton become the new Bizzarro world

That may be the dumbest version of Bizarro I have ever heard.

Ok, it gets the very, and I mean, VERY basics of Bizzaro right.

But SCREW a parallell universe origin, screw some kind of emotional clone saga origin, because Superman just happens to be flying by as the scientist's infant son distracts the scientist, who knocks the beam that turns diamonds into walnuts (why not coal?) skyward!

Zod and Ursa are on a boat that Lois happens across WHY again?

And they're not as menacing as they were in SUPERMAN 2?

I'd give it a read, it sounds at least novel...

But as a film? Pass. Bigtime.
