As long as he does a Russian accent, I'm stoked!

Lex Luthor maybe? Idk but I'm sure he'd be amazing in whatever role they give him.

that would be fanstastic!!!

I hope he ends up in this film hes a phenominal actor

I think he'd be a great Luthor, would be terrific if he was in this movie.

no one wants sloppy seconds viggo, go back to your fairy movies

just kidding, I'll take him

He said that before he sropped out of Snow White. Now it could be a possibility again.

Viggo for Metallo!!!, come on Zack make it happen!!

If they do manage to land him, I'll be furious.

Mother****er turned down the role of Ra's al Ghul :cmad:.

As great as Neeson is, he's a lesser actor so I'm glad that Viggo will have a shot at a much more prominent role to take advantage of his talents.

Along with Cooper, Hopkins and DDL. And now Hopkins is in Thor and maybe Viggo in Superman. Can you blame them for passing on Batman when their last memory of a Batman film was Batman & Robin?

I know. I was mostly joking :cwink:.

I was disappointed when he turned it down, but I understood why he did - along with the others you mentioned.

I can see why he did though. It was towards the end of 2003 and had done three huge, crowd-pleasing blockbusters. Maybe he felt like he'd had his fill of those flicks and post-LOTR did not-so-commercial stuff like A History of Violence, Appaloosa, Eastern Promises and The Road.

Here we are ten years since Fellowship of the Ring (I know...it doesn't feel like a decade...) and Mortensen wants to make a good-paying gig for a high-profile movie. Explains why he was also up for Snow White & the Huntsman.

^not to mention he apprently wanted $8 million as well as gross participation for Snow White.

Is that story true?

I always thought of Mortensen as an actor who didn't care about how much money he made.

It came from Heat Vision (the genre-geared subsidiary of Hollywood Reporter) and Borys Kit has a good track-record. I'd say it's true.

if i had to act across kristen stewart i would want more money too

Maybe their loss will be our gain

I will tolerate Zod to land Mortensen. I know I'm backtracking but hell, it's Viggo Mortensen.
