Let's be honest - the writers probably realize they made a poor choice in killing off BC but they may not really have had a choice (from what i understand, behind the stage beef with Stephen Amell). I suppose the can bring Earth 2 BC to the show (who looked bad ass btw in photos), but that wouldn't truly be the same Laurel. I would be down for that though as I wasn't really into Earth 1 Laurel. This would be a great opportunity to redo the character over and make her truly bad ass; however, if this doesn't happen due to the alleged beef backstage, i would love for Nyssa to take the mantle and be on the team. The fans seem to love the actress who plays her and this could open up other avenues such as Talia Al Ghul and I'm sure Malcum will be around next season, so this could all actually work out really well.

Personally I'm not sad to see Laurel go. I didn't love the character, but she was getting better each season. I would love to see Felocity die. It seems every episode she has a minor role in is better lol. Anyhow, thoughts on Nyssa being on the team next season??????

She was killed off because the writers introduced a grave plotline with no idea what they were doing and backed themselves into a corner they couldn't get out of. If there's any conspiracy here as to why specifically her was chosen you'd be better blaming Olicity pandering than some bulls*** about having beef with her co-stars.

While I wouldn't be opposed to seeing an interesting, compelling character take up the "Black Canary" mantle, I think it's pretty clear that the writers are incapable of servicing four "costumed" heroes on this show (i.e. Green Arrow, Speedy, Spartan and Black Canary). So, I don't think they would be any more adept at writing for the new Black Canary than they were with the old Black Canary.

Also, I'm happy for Nyssa to remain as head of the League of Assassins for now. Although I've lost interest in the LOA itself, Nyssa remains a compelling character and hopefully her role as leader of the LOA will provide plenty of story opportunities for her to pop up now and again.

She disbanded them. They no longer exist. Malcolm still has some loyalists though, who wear the outfit.

Lol. That's right. I forgot. It's hard to keep up. Nyssa wanted to be head of the League for so long, then when she gets its, she gives it up. That just makes it all the more galling that Black Canary, Vixen and Nyssa didn't team up to form the Birds of Prey.

They still have plenty of candidates for a Birds of Prey type show if they wanted to do one.

White Canary, some hypothetical new version of Black Canary, Vixen, Speedy, Nyssa Al-Ghul, Katana, Hawkgirl, Harbinger, The Huntress, Overwatch (in an Oracle-type role), etc. They could even come out of left field with someone like Jesse Quick.

Honestly, pick any 3-5 of those characters and I'd watch.
