BLACK DYNAMITE
It was my crush on Pam Grier that lead me to the film genre of Blaxploitation
Of course i watched all of her films,and watched tons of others in the genre.
So of course i had to see BLACK DYNAMITE a spoof of the films i have come to enjoy
Michael Jai White,who co wrote the flick is perfect as BD and Salli Richardson-Whitfield
is the perfect straight woman to BD's antics,one liners,and very funny outbursts.
Throw in some memorable faces like Arsenio Hall and the voluptuous Kym Whitley
and its a fun time at the movies.Things get a bit repetitive towards the end but i had fun for the most part.Stick around during the credits for some cool animation and funny clips

wow. i just saw this movie. and i swear, without a bit of exaggeration, this was the funniest damn movie i have ever seen in my entire life. i was laughing my ass off and crying through 90% of this movie. by the end of the movie i just wanted it to stop being funny because i couldnt handle any more funny. my friend and i stumbled out of the theater laughing ourselves to tears. wow.

but back to the movie, between the scene in the orphanage and the following scene with all the pimps and drug pushers, i almost had to leave the theater because i was laughing so hard! i couldnt even catch my breath to swallow.

It's doing so well here in DC, they extended the engagement beyond the New Year's weekend, although they only offer midnight screenings. So, it'll probably be here one more weekend before they do their midnight movie series of old 80s movies.

The gag was wearing one me once it got to the third act and I started checking the watch.

I feel it kind of fell apart when they got to the White House. A bad Nixon impression is not funny. It was pretty funny for the first half hour so. It was like watching a sketch that's a good 10 minute sketch turned into a long ass movie.

Don't know how MacGruber can do it.
