Again... Can you point where I said anything about him requiring leniency? Because if you can't, I'm not sure where the Brock Turner comparison even starts as a criticism of what I wrote.

Here is a tragedy as I see it... The Reactionaries are willing to drop their own high school aged children who don't really have a clue about anything political or socially, armed, into the meat grinder of the nation's battle over its original sin of systemic racism.

I don't follow how observing any of this is at all like a Judge letting a sexual assaulter off the hook.

Viewing his radicalization as a tragedy does not sit well. A large part of it, is how the media treats white criminals vs black criminals. Even white vs black victims. I understand your point, but it triggers a bit of a response. Especially if you look at it similar to school shootings. Most committed by kids the same age. At this point, I think it is lucky only two people are dead.

Reportedly the man who died was wearing a hat reading "Patriot Prayer", the slogan of a far-right militia group, and was part of the pro-Trump militia that showed up in Portland.

But in any case, Kyle Rittenhouse is indisputably a Trump supporter, so the point stands.
