Full George Floyd death video with bleeped censors for the curse words.
Very disturbing stuff.
Very disturbing stuff.
They had what feels like a 100 of these services and if it was a Hispanic or white person they wouldn't care. The media is trying too hard to appeal to the protestors who are nothing but hoodlums.Bordering? Come on Loca, you know they aren't that subtle.
What are they saying?
So, have you just missed the effect that George Floyd and his fellow victims have had on the world the last two weeks? Because we are talking about some Rosa Parks level stuff here. He has had an impact not even all Presidents can say they have had.I can understand some of the criticism. The funeral proceedings were a bit much. They took his body from city to city like he was a President. I fear that some of the extreme pandering is going to push some people toward Trump.
A good example of the impact this whole situation is having. Years of work, and they now got it done in two weeks. As we can see, the NYPD certainly had reason to be cranky today.
Yeah, its rough when public servants have public records.
They understand. That isn't the issue with dishonest actors. They don't understand and never will. The rioters are a small percentage of the BLM movement and protesters. The rioters themselves aren't all necicilarily criminals or anything but are understandably upset that are taking the wrong actions and going about wrong
Hell, I will take people changing their behavior for the better just because they are being recorded. That said, if I have learned anything in life, your wife is 1000% correct*. In the end, people show you who they really are. For the better and the worst.
*Which I am sure you are use to at this point.

InCali man, I adore you.Well, I'm actually more used to being wrong.![]()

Explain. Because the only way that pisses someone off is because they are super racist, and they are already voting for Trump.Unfortunately that’s the kind of talk that will get Trump re-elected.
This incident may be the biggest story of the year, and we’re still in the middle of an unprecedented pandemic that the likes of which we haven’t seen in over a hundred years. Not only is it the biggest story of the year, it may be one of the defining stories of this decade. This isn’t just getting attention in the US, but most of the world as well. So, have you just missed the effect that George Floyd and his fellow victims have had on the world the last two weeks? Im concerned that criminals with grudges could potentially stalk or track down current and former cops using public records. But as long precautions are taken and the records wont endanger ongoing cases it should be fine.As we can see, the NYPD certainly had reason to be cranky today.

This is nice. What does this have to do with honoring George Floyd? Because for me, this sounds like a massive pivot away from the talk of George Floyd's funeral overly extravagant.Umm there are a ton of super racist people in the US. I live in PA in the middle of nowhere...pretty much Trump country. Outside of the big cities there are a lot of people who are not as open minded. They might agree with the protests at first but talking about extreme measures like disbanding the police is going to drive the “undecided” into Trump’s arms...and PA is a battleground state so who knows where it will land.
Marv, you do realize Hard to Kill was a fictional movie right? It wasn't a documentary.Im concerned that criminals with grudges could potentially stalk or track down current and former cops using public records. He's a normal guy who became a martyr, catalyst and symbol for something greater. Why him and not Breonna Taylor? Idk.Because he was just a regular guy. Nobody at that funeral knew who he was 2 weeks ago. I understand the protests against police brutality. I understand the BLM movement. I just don’t agree with comparing him to Rosa Parks though.
You do realize Rosa Parks was "just" a "regular person" nobody knew before she wouldn't move on the bus, right? How many people back then do you think thought and said she was just that black ***** who wouldn't move on a bus? How many said she doesn't matter?Because he was just a regular guy. Nobody at that funeral knew who he was 2 weeks ago. I understand the protests against police brutality. I understand the BLM movement. I just don’t agree with comparing him to Rosa Parks though.
I agree with this. I've also seen people observing a lot of the "**** white people" sentiment (and statements) on social media which won't help the cause, or may push people away who otherwise would have wanted to contribute to the cause. People are obviously very emotional, but another thing that has become crystal clear for many people, aside from how thuggish and poorly trained many officers are, is that racism/bigotry is most certainly a two-way street. This is what both parties want and why power is more consolidated among those who rule then ever before. Divide and Rule. Racists are emboldened, ideologies crystalized/radicalized, and people who are on the fence behind the scenes (the silent majority?) largely remain there, likely leading them to continue voting for their own self-interest as opposed to change.Umm there are a ton of super racist people in the US.
