Horror Blumhouse and James Wan to bring us M3gan

I really don't think this'll turn out to be good. It looks shockingly derivative and cringy with the stupid dance ****. Being released in January's not a good sign either.

Also, still peeved the trailer for this got shoved onto Black Panther like this when I saw it in IMAX. Really feel sorry for any children in the crowd when the rest of the previews (D&D, Mario Bros, Ant-Man, Avatar, etc.) were more in line with what would be shown with that movie.

The recent Child's Play reboot had the toy doll be a rogue A.I., so this movie feels a bit too similar to that.

Didn't watch the latest trailer it sounded too spoilery. Nice hearing the good reactions though.

I really don't think this looks any good. I keep getting reminded of that useless Child's Play remake where they made Chucky a robot; this looks exactly like that. A remake of a remake. And that dancing is just cringy and feels like "how do you do, fellow young people?". Making this PG-13 is also really a mistake, as PG-13 slashers are NEVER good. Even Child's Play was R.

Disappointed this is pg-13. The premise seems rife for some R rated kills

I was looking forward to this even if it had sh** reviews so this is a good sign.

I love how we're starting 2023 with a new horror icon. I'm watching Megan for a fun ride, and I want a lot of people in the theater so we can all laugh and share in the good times. Hopefully it's a preview of the cinematic landscape to come this year.

Oh Lord, knowing Blumhouse… if this does well at the box office - which it probably will - we’ll be in the Megan-verse for the next ten years. Sequels, prequels, spin-offs, TV series, cartoon series etc.

I've no idea if this will be good or crap. But when watching that adorable little actress that plays Megan without the mask, and her comments; Of course I need to watch this.

This is going to make bank.
