Horror Blumhouse and James Wan to bring us M3gan

I enjoyed this but more for the meme and parody potential than the movie itself. I hated all of the characters (seriously, ALL of them), and that’s fine in a horror movie where they all get offed in entertaining ways but… the body count was surprisingly low. It felt pretty tame compared to most AI-goes-haywire horror films.

They kinda shot themselves in the foot by releasing it digital like 2 weeks after it came out and opened big. It might not make it to 100M domestic at this point when it surely would have before ala Smile. They should’ve just waited for this Peacock release.

I just saw an ad for it on Peacock. I had no idea it would be on streaming so soon but I'll be checking out the unrated version for sure.

I just watched the unrated version. Definitely glad I waited for that because I don't think I'd like the watered down PG-13 version as much. It's not the best horror movie and it's not terribly original but it was still fun and the kills were the highlight apart from that dance scene.

It was a fun little movie. Modern day Chucky as I'm sure plenty have said.

I am surprised that they ruined the launch of M3GAN in the film. Half of her kills didn't make sense and i was expecting to see a mass production in the works to wink at the audience about the future but they didn't.

I think a sequel could easily improve upon the first and be superior

said it before the girl who did her voice was amazing equal parts cute and friendly and evil and chilling

Watched it on Peacock. A little too slow for me. Not that I’m into gore, but it was a hour in before she started killing anyone. M3gan herself was a fine. But the actress playing the little girl was horrible.

That's why it's called M3GAN and not M3GAN's Friend Katie. :o

So glad that I watched this at home so I could rewind
M3GAN getting chokeslammed through a table.:funny:

Finally watched this, thought it was hilarious and highly entertaining. Predictable for the most part yes but sometimes that's a good thing.

8/10

I was watching this the other day. Enjoyable, but I definitely enjoyed the child’s play remake more.

I'm assuming it's gonna be a Terminator situation where she plays the adult Megan.
