This however, I'm not liking. My honest first reaction was "Is this gonna be a Lifetime movie now?" but then I realized he wasn't a woman so that's a no.
Guess we're gonna have to wait a bit longer; how much do you wanna bet that Adam Lambert will campaign for the role?

Good riddance? SBC was the perfect choice to play Mercury. He's the main reason this movie was getting made. A PG rated fluff piece about Queen deserves to be on the Lifetime channel

The worst part is, Brian May is extremely intelligent, but I guess they don't want Freddy's dirty laundry aired across the world anymore. Still, this had so much potential, but PG, no thanks.

Adam Lambert isn't much of an actor at all. Even though he and Queen are now best buddies I hope they resist the urge to cast him. He's never made a movie before and I can't see the studio hiring him for something as big as this. He's a stage performer, not an actor.

I've seen Russell Brand's name bandied about. But my gut feeling is they'll just shelve the picture. The fans won't want a dishonest, whitewashed PG-13 version anyway.
