I can't wait till Potter then we can have some real box office numbers finally.

Domestically Harry Potter has been slipping since the 1st one. However, Harry Potter also has 3 weeks on Narnia and 4 weeks on Kong but there are some buzz worthy movies in between.

True...but I think Potter will make more this time than with POA. And Yes I can't wait for Narnia either as that is my favorite fantasy tales. Also King Kong looks awesome too.

It'll be interesting to see how it fares after a) the summer drought and b) fourth movie in a series. I also don't remember seeing too many ad's for it on tv yet considering it's out in another week.

I think with Goblet being the most action packed of the Potter books that will benefit it's box office take. I think the least it will do domestically is 240 million...but I'm hoping it will reach to the upper 200's or past 300 (But that might be a stretch).

Comingsoon's predictions:

The Ice Harvest: $6 to 7 million over the course of the five-day Thanksgiving weekend, in large part due to the movie’s holiday theme, but it probably won’t make more than $15 million total.

In the Mix: $4 to 6 million over the five-day Thanksgiving weekend and a quick exit from theatres shortly after.

Just Friends: $13 to 15 million over the extended Thanksgiving weekend on its way to roughly $40 million

Pride & Prejudice: Pride & Prejudice should earn another $5 to 7 million in its first five days in nationwide release, on its way to around $25 million total.

Rent: $19 to 20 million over the five day Thanksgiving weekend on its way to around $50 million

Yours, Mine and Ours: Around 18 million for the 5-day, with 12-14 million coming on the weekend. In total it should earn between 40 to 45 million.

HP is atleast going to reach 300

I'm not sure if it will reach 300. Depends how big the drop will be next weekend. But "won't even touch BB"? Ridiculous. It has already passed BB.
