Boxofficemojo All time WorldWide opening weekends records CORRECTED - V2.1

Now I like the film, but I’m kind of surprised to see Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom cracking the top 15. Knew it still did well but not that well.

Boxofficemojo's All time worldwide opening weekend list is the most inaccurate list in their database.
Movies open at different dates all over the world, often weeks or months apart so they dont add all the numbers up.

Boxofficemojo typically adds the major bulk of territories that opened close to what the USA opening weekend date is and ignores the rest that come later. They also tend to add the grosses of the first 4-5 days from the OS markets.

Technically if you want to have a total worldwide sum of the opening weekend from all markets you have to wait for the movie to open everywhere and then add the numbers. DUH !

So here you go.

*** Deadpool 2 total without the $21,4 million opening in China from the Once Upon a Deadpool re-release.

*** Toy Story 3 grossed a total of $126,66 million in Japan but there is no specific data for the 3day opening weekend which could range anywhere from $5 - 40 million.

Avengers Infinity War is a beast and truly is in a league of its own.

That 1-2-3 MCU combo is sexy.

Endgame made around $305 million on international markets after Thursday, so for the three day period Friday-Sunday it made around $900 million. Although those numbers would include the $60 million it made domestically in Thursday previews

We add the first 3day numbers (opening weekend) from each market.China is a sole exception were the opening weekend is usually 5 days.

We dont count how much it made during the US opening weekend 3day.

After some time Boxofficemojo will probably sort this out and w ll have more exact numbers.

Like Captain Marvel the numbers went from $445 to $431 mil.

Im pretty aware that the total number for EndGame isnt accurate as it contains grosses of 4 days from some markets.
