I still don't have any suggestions for the actor, but—and I hope this isn't a lack of imagination—I picture a pretty “conventional” Batman, physically speaking, for the DCU.
I'm generally very in favor of original casting and I appreciate pushing the envelope with these characters—my favorite actor in this role remains Keaton and I love the idea of someone like Skaasgard, Austin Butler, or Adam Driver under the cowl—but based on what we know about the influences here, I don't think it would be right. A squarer, older Batman, but still classic, might be more appropriate here, especially for a patriarchal version of the character.
Actually, I feel this even more after seeing Corenswet's Superman, who I think would contrast more naturally with a Batman displaing these characteristics...
Ironically enough, among the live-action Batmen of the past, I expect Gunn's version to be closer to Affleck's... At least visually, the characterization would be different, we all agree on that.
