Elordi's old enough to play a first-time father, but he's still too young to play a mentor figure opposite an adult Dick Grayson. We'll see what happens, though.

Tbh Jacob Elordi might be the best Batman option out there right now but I just wish he was older. I like when Batman is slightly older than the rest of the League. I always saw Batman, Aquaman, Hal, and Ollie as being a little older

The movie that convinced me was Priscilla (my favorite movie of 2023). He is genuinely such a talented young actor. I wanted to hate him because I thought he was horrible in those Kissing Booth movies, but he’s the sh**. He’ll be a perfect fit for Batman in like 5-10 years. Euphoria demonstrates a lot of his range as well. Have you seen much of his work?

Yeah, Elordi hasn't gotten a lot of great roles yet but he's obviously beyond promising. If they made The Batman today, I strongly suspect he'd be one of the frontrunners for it.

He also definitely doesn’t seem like the kind of young rising talent that wants to enter the game of tentpole franchise movies at this time. At least not yet.

I like Elordi as an actor , but I agree that he's too young for the type of Batman Gunn is going for .

If Gunn were going for a younger , rookie Batman , I could see it , but that's not what he wants .

I feel like the Brave And The Bold Batman actor would at least need to be in his mid to late 30s on the younger end , of casting .

Keaton and West were both 37 when they were cast , and Affleck was 40, so, I could see something in those age ranges for the DCU Batman .

I mean, he’s certainly got a Joker-y smile, but he’s also 61.

Even Nicholson wasn’t that old.

Weird thing but I worry that Elordi is TOO tall for Batman. I remember when that (awful) Justice League Mortal movie was in production (I wholeheartedly believe that movie would have sucked despite George Miller being at the helm) they put Armie Hammer in a suit that supposedly made him seven feet tall. I worry they would do the same thing with Elordi. Similarly when Affleck was Batman, they got fixated on having him “tower over Superman.” Regarding the latter, he didn’t tower over him that much but it’s almost like, due to Batman’s popularity, they can’t help but use him to undercut Superman and I’m tired of seeing that happen. We finally have a Superman people like and I want them to build on that rather than just brush him to the side to prop up the new Batman like they did in the DCEU.

I still find the belief that Sklenar is THE guy to be a bit forced, but he does have a certain screen presence. I’d be cool with him being in contention, but I feel like Bats isn’t the only character he’d be suitable for.
