MSNBC is saying they think he O.D.

This news is just breaking so who knows but it wouldn't surprise me if he did OD.

More to come as it comes in....

You beat me by a couple of minutes.... been seeing a number of comments on Twitter in the last 20 minutes about this...

Actor Corey Haim dies at age 38
Police say hospital notified them of former ‘Lost Boys’ star’s death

Actor Corey Haim, 38, was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Calif., Wednesday morning after an apparent overdose, police said.

Police learned of the death, which occurred between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, when staff at the hospital called authorities, said Sgt. Frank Albarren of the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station.

"It was an apparent overdose," Albarren said. "Unknown what type of medication."

The Canadian-born Haim found fame in the 1987 when he co-starred in numerous films with actor Corey Feldman, including "The Lost Boys."

Damn he was only 38 :shock

I thought he was older. I can't say i'm surprised he had a long battle with drugs addiction. Too bad he couldn't beat his addiction.

ANOTHER ONE OD'D TO DEATH?!

****'s sake, why does this keep happening lately? First Heath Ledger, then MJ, now this.

Oh, well. At least we don't have to worry about Corey Haim potentially showing up in Twilight: Breaking Dawn. Not that he was/would've.

haven't posted in a while but this is sad news

R.I.P Corey.

Corey had been dealing with substance abuse for many years. Too bad he wasnt able to overcome it :csad:

May he RIP.

I just saw this on Yahoo. Actually, I'm really surprised. I did see much of Haim's stuff, but it's still a shock.

some of my all-time favorites were license to drive and the lost boys

Prayer of the Rollerboys used to be my favourite film before I purchased some taste.

RIP

Not real surprising...guy was a mess on that Two Coreys show. RIP

He seemed like a decent guy on the two Coreys he just couldn't overcome this. It's sad .

Look what someone wrote on wikipedia
"Corey Haim had confirmed that he would not be participating in Lost Boys 3: The Thirst, citing a very busy schedule. Although he said he was looking forward to coming back for a fourth film, his death in March 2010 made that impossible or did it?"

man, what a sad day

Corey had real trouble with drugs over the last decade, but seemed to have put that all behind him recently. He'd just filmed several movies and was back in the swing of things.

RIP Corey.

I was really hoping he would continue in films and keep himself healthy.

He didn't look too bad at all in recent months, so as to how this happened, it truly is shocking.

Feldman is probably feeling horrible.

Weren't they almost like brothers?

I remember the tv show, Feldman was really trying to help him out

You'd think they'd learn to get some help or something.

My condolences to his family.

I remember seeing a interview with him and Feldman and Haim not too long ago and seemed like the normal one.
