My only issue with all of this is Bin Laden's death shouldn't be used as a political toy.... But it will be. I can see the re-election campaigns now...

This should be a victory for the United States, not any one person or political party. Alas though, everything is turned into political gain one way or another. We'll all be holding hands and singing God Bless America for a few days then it will be back to Dems vs Republicans and Liberals vs Conservatives.

I just heard them say facial imaging confirmed the death, but there is still DNA testing being done now, even though he was already buried at sea.

What are the odds that its not him? And what exactly would DNA testing confirm? I mean, its not like we have his records or anything.

The current President has been demonized as a Muslim terrorist himself over the last 3-4 years. At the very least I hope this will shut people up about that issue. He gave the order to take out the most notorious Muslim terrorist on the planet. If people still want to continue the demagoguery against his patriotism/religion, then they're just a hopeless bunch. But I hope reasonable people will wake the hell up about that. The man has plenty of legitimate policy faults (like the economy) without attacking his basic humanity.

Maybe they didn't want people to see the state of the body. They had, in their power, one of the biggest scumbags in American history. Who could resist giving the body a bit of a kicking? But lots of bruises and and imploded chest may look bad. Send off the wrong message.

I'm actually hoping that they didn't do any of that and it's just a front to put off any probable attacks. I hope that they now have his body hidden somewhere in a bunker miles and miles underground and are currently doing an autopsy on him

Me again. One more thing. I find it odd how those who post they're doubts about the US goverment are instantly branded as idiots and paranoid theorists.

I mean why is it so bad to question the authority? How can anyone get insulted if somebody questions the "truth"? Since when have politicians and media been trustworthy? Isn't it the job of a citizen to ask them tough questions? What is so bad about that?
