Breaking News: Osama Bin Laden Is Dead! - Part 4

Do you believe that Osama Bin Laden's killing was legal?

  • Yes

  • No

  • It honestly doesn't matter to me if it's legal or not. It's what needed to be done.

9/11 had many fathers.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was the architect and logistical planner.

But Osama Bin Laden was in charge of the organization which carried it out, had foreknowledge, requested, authorized and funded the attack.

I hope the ambiguity of who actually planned logistics for the attack is what you're referring to in your comments.

If on the other hand, you're a "truther"... well... the 'conspiracy thread' is thataway.

It's much more complicated than that.

Al Qaeda, Taliban, Mujahideen any of these ass clowns sell themselves to the highest bidder. Don't think for a second that proxy wars between the US, China, Russia and Iran don't still exist.

UPDATE: BIN LADEN RELATIVES WANT 'PROBE' INTO OSAMA BIN LADEN'S DEATH

Anyone who loses a family member in such a way (natural disaster, abduction, 9/11, etc.) that the body isn't found/available usually has some feelings of skepticism about the death, this is a totally normal thing. It's the mind's way of trying to cope with the inconceivable.

When you factor in that in Osama's case, there actually IS good reason why a government might lie about his death, Omar's statement is hardly crazy talk. If I was him, I'd want to see some proof too.

I'm not getting why this is a thing.

I dunno..im sure if my dad was somehow involved in a large terror attack on the US and they were after him...and one day he was announced as being killed by the US shouldnt really be a surprise...especially if I belonged to a religion that required him to be buried within 24 hours.

But i guess when you believe that the US would fake Bin Laden's death to draw attention away from his birth certificate...then I guess it makes sense.

According to Reuters, one of Osama Bin Laden's sons is condemning the murder of his father and the deep sea burial that followed. Omar Bin Laden said that the killing was 'criminal' and the burial was 'demeaning'.

Derp

Would he have been happy if we took ben alive, sprayed him with pheremones and let wild male boars sodomize him to death? I would've.

Omar Bin Ladin has repeatedly condemned his father for his views and actions. He simply wants proof that his father is, in fact, deceased. He also disputes the legality of the assassination and, like any person with an affinity for human-rights, would have liked to have seen the man brought to trial.

I have a very strong 'affinity' for human rights and I truly believe Bin Laden got what he deserved. I'm really not quite sure why you are so vehemently defending Bin Laden...but it's really unbecoming.

its been cool to hate america for so long that when we do something right it messes with peoples minds

I have much more than just a "liking" for human rights, I back it up with much of my time and money....but, I still do not believe that this man needed to be brought to trial. To do what? Prove he was part of 9/11? He has admitted to his responsibility in 9/11....why would we have a trial when we have that on tape, in print, etc....?

You know whats unbecoming? This idea that if you question what the US did you're defending Bin Laden.

I believe that you have a right to your opinion, and you have the right to the opinion that you believe he should have gone to trial, but your assumption that people who believe that Osama got what he deserved do not believe in human rights, is absurd.....and more bloviation than opinion.

You still didn't do it right, you just think you did because you're still raw about what happened.

Saddam Hussein and Slobodan Milosevic both had trails. Bin Laden should have been no different.

Neither of them actually confessed on tape that they did any of what they did.....

That's the thing Kel. Bin Laden confessed and GLOATED about orchestrating the 9/11 attacks. What good would a trial have done except give him more airtime and make him even more of a martyr?

Hussein and Milosevic NEVER confessed to anything so far as I know.

Milosevic didn't even live to hear his verdict...

Probably to embarrass Obama and the United States. Very Alinsky-esque (rule number 4). If they do go to the International Criminal Courts. And the UN might tag along.

This would be a fantastic time to defund the UN if you ask me.

You've said that his killing wasn't legal. I believe you've also condemned his deep sea burial and said that we 'should have shown more compassion' to a man who showed none. If you're not condemning him, then what are you doing? You're basically defending him.

My god I sound like President W. Bush. 'If you're not with us, you're against us.'

Save me. :csad:

I believe you have me confused with someone else.

If you're not condemning him, then what are you doing? You're basically defending him.

I'm questioning the action of your government, deal with it.

Perhaps you should lose the attitude? You have a right to your opinion just as I have a right to call you out on it.
