Breaking News: Osama Bin Laden Is Dead! - Part 4

Do you believe that Osama Bin Laden's killing was legal?

  • Yes

  • No

  • It honestly doesn't matter to me if it's legal or not. It's what needed to be done.

It's pretty obvious that Pakistan knew Bin Laden was there and didn't tell us.

America: Pakistan! Whats that you're hiding behind your back?

Pakistan: Not telling!

America: Come ooooooon. Show meeeeeeee.

Pakistan: Nope

America: *sulk*

So it's okay for members of Al Qaeda to cross international borders to conduct missions and assassinate unarmed Americans, but when Americans do the same in reverse, people get upset?

I think I'm seeing a pattern here....
I'm not aware of ANYONE saying it's ok for Al Qaeda to do that...

Furthermore making this a tu quoque argument.
I guess we're forgetting about the part where he was going for a weapon when they entered the room
Never heard that. Heard he "made a threatening gesture" which is a suspiciousy vague description to me.

Personally I doubt he was getting out of there alive unless he was naked, dropped to the floor immediately on seeing SEALS and put his hands behind his head... Even then I'd still have my suspicions as to whether he'd get out alive.

80 people die in explosion.

Continued to get made fun of.

Does anyone else think that there will be little figurines that look like Osama Bin Laden that can be put in fish tanks sold at pet stores soon?

*America punches Pakistan in the face*

America: Aha! It's Bin Laden! You shouldn't have that!

World: 'Ello, 'Ello, 'Ello... Wot's all this then?

America: Err... we were just walking along the road here and... err... me and my friend Pakistan here, when he tripped over this thing in the middle of the street. Pakistan here fell and hurt his faceas you can see and then we realised that what he fell over was Bin Laden we dug it up and found him. Here you go! We're heroes!

World: Is this true, Pakistan?

*Pakistan rubs face and considers ramifications of being caught carrying Bin Laden*

Pakistan: Err... yeah. That's what happened. We're heroes!

World: Well... carry on then boys. Good job.

*Pakistan and America scowl at each other, one ******** from the punch to the face, the other pissed that he had Bin Lden*

There is nothing so far stating that he was going for a weapon, but that there were weapons within reach...

He had one of his wives in front of him, and they knew that he knew they were coming because he had just seen them from his balcony....so, I do not blame them one bit for shooting first and asking questions later. This wasn't a drug dealer in his house....this was someone who had stated himself he was the mastermind behind the killing of close to 3,000 people, someone who was known for boobie traps, as well as someone who has stated he would not be taken alive....with all of that information, there really IMO, was no room for a "Freeze, your under arrest" type of thing...

I posted a link to an article on it, no one cared though because it happened in Pakistan. I guess they think the war of terror is over or something....

I had already read an article on it, and seen it on the news....it is simply an example of the fact that the war on terror isn't over, and I'm not sure that anyone on this forum believes that it is, or has stated such...I viewed it as another example, shook my head and moved on...

We should be political commentators, like those other two guys... what are their nmes..? Oh yeah, Trey Parker and Matt Stone!

Well I do think they're probably some of the best truly subversive American satirists working today.

Used to be. I think their recent stuff has been less than stellar, sad to say. I am interested in seeing that Mormon musical though.

Someone explain to me why Pakistan wanted to hide Osama Bin Laden. Isn't he as big a menace to them as he is to the West?

No but I suspect the people that come here all up in arms about the US conducting the mission, were the ones saying that the US 'deserved' 9-11.

Because there are various elements in the Pakistani government that are sympathetic to al-Qaeda and the Taliban. They also support actions of terrorism such as the one in Mumbai a couple of years ago.

Pakistan is essentially the US's North Korea.

LOL at people believing this whole thing. He was never killed. :whatever:

Believing in implausible conspiracy theories is often a sign of deeper-lying issues, such as childhood trauma, detachment from reality, paranoia, insecurity and occasionally and in extreme cases schizophrenia.

Yeah, anyone that questions the legality of the mission has to be an Al-Qaeda apologist.

I certainly suffer from non of the above so... your point is?

Keep buying into what they feed you with no evidence.

I concur. These sentiments are disgusting.
And saying the USA 'deserved' 9/11 is equally ridiculous.

But it's like whenever it's in the name of fighting terror the USA is permitted to do everything. The most dangerous an enemy can do to the USA is drag them down to their level.

Every non-prosecuted civilian is innocent and acts of violence against them should be combatted and punished.

It's like parts of the southern US, you have people down their who love their local politicians but HATE the federal government.

and by "various elements" you mean ISI right?

I'm sensing sarcasm from your post. If I'm right in that, then maybe you'll appreciate it when I say you just have to accept that it is unfair that people call you an Al-Qaeda apologist when you are a person who questions the legality of a mission that killed one of the most notorious terrorists in the world.
