You have good arguments.
People of Ossetia have the Russian passports - and they not citizens of Russia? huh!
Russia gives the people of South Ossetia, Russian passports. Russia offered the people living in the region passports because the region is tied more closely to Russia than Georgia.
However, its people are not citizens of Russia at all.
If your grandfather or father comes from France, or Mexico, or other country but live in America and have the American passports, they are Americans! Russia the multinational country, too!
Not at all. Your example is people moving to America, becoming American citizens, and then getting passports.
However reality is that in Russia, the people of South Ossetia stay in South Ossetia, do not become Russian citizens, but Russia gives them passports and lets them use the ruble anyways.
If you well know a policy you should know about the conflict of Ossetia and Georgia! People of Caucasus were always aggressive. Not Russian.
I do know about the conflict in the Caucasus, I have always enjoyed researching quite a bit on Russia and international politics and this is a clear example or illegal Russian aggression. The South Ossetian rebels broke the cease-fire. Georgia decided to use this as the excuse to exert its authority in its own territory (not Russia's) but went a little too far and some peacekeepers were accidentally killed. Russia then responded illegally by invading South Ossetia and kicking the Georgians out of their own territory and continually attacking Georgia.
From the moment of disintegration of the USSR there is a genocide Russian. About it do not speak mass-media but Russian see it. Russian expelled from Caucasus though they lived there and were citizens of Georgia.
And the Russians are causing thousands of Georgians to flee from their homes because of their invasion. And most Russians left on their own accord because Russia no longer dominated areas in the Caucasus, Baltics, etc.
The peaceful inhabitants were hidden in cellars of the destroyed houses.
The Georgian armies have started to fill cellars with water
And when women and children rose upward, left cellars to not sink, soldiers ruthlessly killed them
Considering that I've only heard such things from the Russian media which is dominated by the Russian government, I'm not exactly going to believe that Georgian war crimes were that harsh.
It's pretty obvious that Georgia has committed war crimes in their offensive against South Ossetia, but that severe sounds more like a Russian propaganda campaign.
So terrible. It is insulting and is hurt. I know you never will take my point. But I love my country.
Each nation has the heroes and bastards. Always there will be a disinformation. But I am happy now. Our president has stopped military actions. I hope it will be good now
It won't be good. Your Prime Minister has the attitude that he can do anything he wants and he's getting away with it. Georgia has been violated. And the Transcaucasus will likely be destabilized because of this.
And your country ended its military action because it completely annihilated Georgia.
My friend tell me: Often there is no 'right' side and no 'wrong' side. Time will judge. I only wanted to show other point.
There is a wrong side in this. Georgia's rights as a nation were completely and utterly violated. Russia violated Georgia's territorial integrety, competely ruined its military, destroyed much of its infrastructure, etc. supposedly over dead peacekeepers. ********.
