As much as I dislike Ratner, I think he would be a good fit for this project, especially considering he can relate to the material — Ratner is a mediocre director pretending to be a good director.

I hope Ratner does make this movie, and then follows it up with that "Guitar Hero" project he's supposedly attached to. Because, like Octoberist said, it would keep him the hell away from projects that could actually be good if placed in the right hands.
