omg! that SERIOUSLY pisses me off! when i went to The Circus there were no giant jumbotron screens to show her! ugh!

seriously the people that go to her first shows get the short end of the stick. she was not in as good of shape at the beginning, she had uglier stage costumes, she had less songs, she didnt perform live, and now i find out this. : (

They aren't very accurate though. In 2007, they said she would perform a song called "Cry" at the VMAs. She had a show last night so unless she got a plane immediate after, I don't think she will attend. I rather her not attend than attend and not perform.

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Britney Spears will be doing something quite special at her upcoming Las Vegas concerts on September 26th and 27th at Mandalay Bay.

She will be filming performances and insiders tell us that the shoot will most likely be in 3-D.

Details on the release - whether it will be in theaters or some other option - are still being worked out.

New York, NY - In celebration of the 10th anniversary of her debut on the music scene, Jive Records is releasing Britney Spears The Singles Collection on November 24. To launch the special package a brand new single entitled "3," which Britney recently recorded with hitmaker Max Martin, will go to radio Tuesday, September 29.

There will be two configurations of The Singles Collection; an ultimate fan box set and a standard version.

The ultimate fan box set version of The Singles Collection will contain all 29 of her singles, including the new song "3." Each disc will be packaged in its own slip sleeve case with original artwork, and will include an additional b-side or a remix of the track. The collection will include a DVD featuring all of Britney's videos in chronological order. The ultimate fan box set will also include a special booklet featuring iconic images and fun facts about each track.

The standard version of The Singles Collection will contain 17 of her chart topping favorites along with the new song "3," all on one CD.

During her 10 year career, Britney has had 5 albums debut at the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 100 Album Chart, as well as 23 Top 40 hits on the Billboard Pop Singles Chart. Worldwide, Britney Spears is one of the top-selling artists of the last decade, constantly topping charts with her albums ...Baby One More Time (1999); Oops!... New Britney video coming soon!!

Britney is now celebrating a decade of once again being at the top of the charts, and her new single “3” will be released to radio stations on Tuesday, with a collection of her 10 Years of Hits to be released in November. There were wild rumors circulating in Las Vegas this week that she would be shooting the “3” video here this weekend between her two nights of shows starting this evening at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

“Totally untrue,” said her manager Larry Rudolph when I reached him late yesterday en route here from San Diego. “It will be filmed in about four weeks’ time in Los Angeles.” Larry also cleared up the mystery of “invitations” that suggested Britney would be filming an ABC special on Tuesday here in Vegas.

“We tracked that one down,” he told me. “Somebody started it as a joke. Then it became a rumor. Somebody then sent out fake invitations to attend the taping, and suddenly it all became solid fact. There is no TV special taping while we are in Las Vegas. Please print that and end the rumors.”

As tomorrow is the tour’s final American night, I’m told there will be a huge blowout bash for the wrap party. I’m not revealing any advance details of where it will be, but we’ll have that report and all the photos of Britney’s weekend visit here at Vegas DeLuxe on Monday.

I never realized it, but it's true. Womanizer was a #1 hit single. Gimme More and Circus peaked at #3. Everything else was in the top 20 except for Radar which peaked at #88.

Britney's got a 'Singles Collection' coming out at the end of November and, in customary fashion, it contains a new track that's going to be released as a single. Two of your trusty DS reporters got to listen to it at the end of last week - 18 times, if we recall correctly - so here's what we thought.

1. It's called '3' and it's a Max Martin production.

2. We won't beat around the bush - it's about having a threesome.

3. The chorus, which has more than a hint of the playground chant about it, goes like this: "1-2-3 not only you and me / Got 180 degrees / And I'm caught in between / Counting 1-2-3 feed upon that three / Getting down with repeat / Everybody loves ohhhhh". The "ohhhhh", in case you were wondering, is a classic Britney lusty sigh.

4. Britney makes her intentions very clear elsewhere, telling us "living in sin is the new thing" on the bridge and offering this coaxing couplet on the second verse: "Three is a charm, two's not the same / "I don't see the harm, so are you game?"

5. Enough already with the lyrics! What does '3' sound like? Well, it's uptempo, quite electropoppy on the verses and a little bit ravey on the choruses.

6. '3' would fit better on Circus than Blackout - it's got that slightly cartoony quality that the more recent album sometimes has. The Britney track to which it's most closely related is probably 'If U Seek Amy', though they're more like second cousins who only see each other at family funerals and weddings than brother and sister.

7. The best bit of the song is the middle 8, on which Max Martin cools things down with some synthetic strings, a load of bassy beats kick in and Britters offers her boyfriend a get-out clause: "If you don't like the company / Let's do it just you and me..."

8. ...Before promptly changing her mind by suggesting "or three... or four on the floor". That last bit's pretty clever, because the beats she's singing over at the time could legitimately be classified as "four-on-the-floor".

9. It took us a few plays to fall for '3' - and truth be told it's no 'Gimme More' or 'Womanizer' - but as a fun, fruity newbie to round off a potentially brilliant Singles Collection, it does its job very well indeed.

10. It's premiering on US radio today, so expect to be hearing it very soon. The first UK play, in case you were wondering, will be on Radio 1 this Wednesday afternoon.
