Lynne Spears is promoting her new book, Through The Storm, and in a recent interview with The Daily Mail, she reveals that she feels responsible for her daughter's breakdown, and she even jokes that her book could have been titled It's All My Fault.
Lynne tells the paper that she still feels like she's to blame for Britney's meltdown, and she regrets lots of things she "did and didn't do." Lynne added that at one point, she was concerned that Britney might even take her own life, but after the two patched things up, she knew her daughter was strong enough to pull through. "When I started seeing her again, I felt more reassured," says Lynne. "She told me that, as bad as life can get, she still likes life too much to consider ending it."
When the reporter asked Lynne if Brit is happy now, she responded, "I think Britney's happy in most ways - very happy with her kids and ecstatic about work, but there's something missing in her life."
Though no one really seems to know what that something is, it looks like Britney is in a better place now, and hopefully she'll be able to find that missing piece sooner or later.
