Photoshop and Brittney are clearly quite well acquainted

Actually the last pic wasn't PSed that bad because if you look at her add she looks the same. I think she just lost some weight for the ad and they PSed her for some shots but not all. But I'm an optimist.:o

She was definitely put through the Photoshop but it's not like she needs it all that much. She looks exceptionally well in all her latest candid pictures.

She is looking better, but as someone who has taken several graphic design courses I can say... those were DEFINITELY highly touched up.

then as someone who has taken graphic design courses, you should know that that's pretty much how all magazine photos and adds work :o

The show didn't go on in Vancouver Wednesday night after Britney Spears pulled the plug on her sold-out Circus concert 15 minutes and three songs into her performance – departing the stage and leaving the audience in the GM Place in the dark for more than half an hour. Boos ensued.

Cigarette smoke from the crowd was blamed, with a female voice announcing to the crowd, "The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes – this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared," the Vancouver Sun reports.

Until the agitated crowd settled down, GM Place was filled with piped-in intermission music played at hockey games – which, one concertgoer told PEOPLE, left the fans "really pissed off. The break in the concert ruined it for everyone. The vibe was gone."

When she did return, Spears, 27, delivered a well-received Bollywood take on "Me Against the Music," followed by "Everytime" – during which she asked the crowd "What's up, Vancouver?" before she again left the stage, some 90 seconds before the end of the song.

The concert concluded with Spears singing "Womanizer" and advising the still-restless crowd, "Vancouver, don't smoke weed." Her sign-off was also peppered with a couple of X-rated expletives and a warning to "drive safe."

After the show, a statement was posted on the singer's Web site: "We want to apologize to all the fans who attended our Vancouver show tonight for the brief pause in Britney's set. Crew members above the stage became ill due to a ventilation issue."

Well figuring into the situation all of the acrobatics they do in the show, yeah weed smoke going everywhere doesn't really sound too great

Here's exactly what Miss Spears had to say to her adoring fans in Vancouver:

“Thank you Vancouver, thank you, you guys have a wonderful night. Drive safe, don’t smoke weed, and rock out with your ***** out. Peace mother****ers.”

Oh, Brit Brit.....will you ever be sane? I knew the days of you being normal and Lindsay being the goofball weren't built to last.

I just read a rumor that Britney might be hooking up with K-Fed again. Just when you think she's learning from her past mistakes...

Last week the tabloid said they were back together, but one that just came out claimed that he hated her and he and his girlfriend were stealing the kids or something :whatever:

Yup, professionalism be damned! Give me a break.

Weed smoking at concerts is a common occurence. It didn't stop Madonna, U2, ACDC, etc, etc. Only a lip-synching bipolar hack who has no business charging people exorbitant amounts of money for a glorified karaoke session.

I don't recall people flying around in the air for their shows though
It's not like she ran off mid song or didn't finish the set list or anything

People start concerts two hours late and it's not news....and if they chose to pay the money for
a "glorified karaoke session" then that's their choice.

They know they're paying for a show, not the voice.

Yeah, maybe they didn't have acrobats swinging around in the air, but Tool did. And if Brit-brat thinks the pot smoke during one of her concerts was bad...

Either way, its inexcusable behaviour for a performer of her (theoretical and unearned) popularity. Obviously the old show-biz saying "the show must go on" doesn't apply when faced with the insidious evils of weed smoking.:whatever:

It might not have been her choice to stop the show. If it was a danger to the crew and performers, the show had to stop. As a performer myself, it is very hard to sing and dance when **** like smoke is clogging up your airways. Also if you do not like Britney, why are you even in this thread?

She doesn't sing.

I have a hard time imagining a professional touring crew ceasing a concert due to pot smoke.

P.S.: In case your memory isn't quite up to snuff, lets recall that this thread was essentially created for the sheer purpose of mocking and scorning her hackery and white-trashery.

There was a ventilation issue and crew members that were in the lighting rigs were getting ill from the smoke. Also, the smoking was most likely taking place in the ringside seats which are a few feet from the stage. That is very distracting and harmful to performers.

This thread might have started out as a mockery, but that isn't the case anymore. Get with the times.

:pal: @ a Britney Spears apologist telling anyone to get with the times.

Why? She has had a comeback. Both her album and her lead single, Womanizer, have achieved number one status on the charts. That shows that a majority of people like her music again.
