Why is David Fincher going remake crazy? First The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and now this?

With that said, unlike Dragon Tattoo, I do feel a new adaptation of Verne's best novel is welcome. I love James Mason as Nemo and the original Disney film holds up as campy family fun. But a new, gritty vision of the book? Should be great.
