'Bucky O'Hare' leads Neil Adams' comics to film (EXTERNAL ARTICLE)
Synopsis: Advertising production company Continuity Studios, run by celebrated comic book creator Neal Adams, has launched Buzzworthy, a production company focusing on Adams' feature film projects. The first project to be produced under the Buzzworthy banner will be the CGI-animated feature "Bucky O'Hare," which Adams is directing and producing. Comic book writer Larry Hama wrote the script, based on Adams' 1980s comic book series. The story centers on a green anthropomorphic hare who, with a crew of other mammals including one boy, battles toads in an intergalactic war.

wow can't believe this is happening i so can't wait for this film

Bucky O'Hare movie???

Holy s**t, this can't be real. If it is real, AWESOME!!!

I loved Bucky O'Hare in my younger days, still love it now (thank you very much dvd's), this would be awesome.

Apparently everything has to be CGI these days. :(

that news was posted october 16th but more recently michael golden has mentioned that its stil gettin done as he is co creator i so kant wait and earlier this week thundercats season 1 part1 was released on dvd i loved that show too hope they do a movie or new series

OMG NO WAY!!!! I love bucky o'hare!!! yessssssssss im so happy!!

So it's basically an animated, animal-centred Star Wars movie then?

I love the Bucky cartoon, hated how they cancelled it, but it is very similar to Star Wars in many ways!

yeah a 3d movie will be sweeeeeeeeeet!!! I hope its good cgi, and not what was posted on their site though

I love bucky so much was thinking of redesigns and a storythe other day, got quite a good idea

people should post designs and stuff on here i would but i can hardly draw lol

I can handle seeing a Bucky movie as long as the enemy is Complex or Toad Air Marshall.

Its been nearly 12 years since I last saw the cartoon on TV.

:whatever:

You should pick up the dvd, it's a amzing how two discs can contain so much awesomness.

yeah i got it the other day from play.com for £10 what a bargain

It ended too soon. Literally, it ended before they completed what they originally set out to do!

Guys, after some research, I think what is happening is that Adams and co are looking for a studio to finance the movie. The CGI short on the website is a demo to show potential investors. So don't get over-excited just yet.

Whatever the case may be, I hope the movie ends up being made (and with better animation than the clip on the website). It's always good to have a more offbeat movie now and then, especially as far as animated films go.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CGI animation ANd Bucky O'Hare all the way!
I am so freakin geeked out right now!!!

I remember it as a kid man, but I cant see it on the movie screen. If it went straight to dvd I guess.

Bucky O'Hare was cool and the theme tune rocked. A CGI movie could be cool if they did it ala the new TMNT in sort of style (I think that would suit Bucky) and I know it's such a general term but 'made it darker'..

I'd prefer a Lylat Wars CGI film anyway.. :ninja:

Don't know what you're smokin'. Bucky > Fox McCloud. Any-freakin'-day.

-- END!
